Safety Instructions and Candle Care Guide

Candles are a beautiful decoration and a source of light, warmth and comfort. However, since they work with an open flame, it is necessary to follow basic safety rules. Careless handling can lead to fire or injury. We recommend following the instructions below and the information on the candle label.
The manufacturer and seller are not liable for damages caused by non-compliance with these instructions.

Instructions and Safety Rules:

  1. Use the candle only on a non-flammable surface – ideally a metal, glass or ceramic plate or candle holder that protects furniture from heat and dripping wax.
  2. Before lighting, remove all decorations, ribbons, packaging and labels that are not a fixed part of the candle.
  3. Place the candle on a flat, stable surface. On a slanted surface, the candle may burn unevenly or tip over.
  4. Protect the candle from draughts – the flame may flicker, grow larger, drip down the sides or ignite nearby objects (e.g. paper or curtains).
  5. Do not expose the candle to direct heat (stoves, heaters, electronics, sunlight, a hot car). Temperatures above 50 °C can deform or melt the candle.
  6. Keep the candle at least 50 cm away from flammable materials – curtains, textiles, dried flowers, etc.
  7. Do not place multiple burning candles close together. Heat from the flames can melt the wax and cause deformation or fire.
  8. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep children and pets away – there is a risk of burns or tipping over.
  9. Extinguish the candle using a snuffer or lid. Do not blow it out and never extinguish it with water!
  10. Trim the wick regularly to 5 mm (5–10 mm for larger candles). A long wick produces soot and shortens the candle's lifespan.
  11. Do not handle a burning candle. Only move it after the wax has solidified.
  12. Always extinguish the candle when leaving the room.
