  • Candles by Zodiac Sign

🌟 Zodiac Candles – find your cosmic flame

Did you know your ancestors trusted the stars more than we do today? In the past, they planted, harvested, and married according to the sky. Long before GPS, sailors navigated by the North Star, and farmers knew: when Orion rises, winter is coming. Zodiac candles are our way of keeping that wisdom alive – each of the 12 signs has its own color, scent, and energy.

A short story from the past

Imagine a shepherd thousands of years ago. Sitting by the fire, watching his flock, while above him the sky spins with stars. He sees stories up there – Orion chasing the bull, the lion guarding summer, and the scorpion announcing the night. That’s how the zodiac was born – a calendar in the sky, long before paper was invented.

Today, we no longer need the stars to survive, but inside us something still ticks with their rhythm. That’s why we make zodiac candles – Aries gets fiery red, Pisces calming blue, Taurus earthy brown. A way to pause and remember we are part of something greater.

    Which candle is yours?

🔥 Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

    Colors: Red, orange, gold
Scents: Cinnamon, orange, ginger – uplifting and energizing
For: People who love action and dislike boredom

🌍 Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

    Colors: Brown, green, beige
Scents: Cedar, patchouli, vanilla – grounding and soothing
For: Those who seek stability and order

💨 Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

    Colors: Light blue, white, yellow
Scents: Lavender, mint, lemon – fresh and airy
For: Communicators and dreamers with their head in the clouds

💧 Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

    Colors: Dark blue, violet, turquoise
Scents: Jasmine, rose, ocean freshness – deep and mysterious
For: Sensitive souls and intuitive spirits

When to give a zodiac candle?

    • Birthdays – a classic gift that never fails
    • Encouragement – Leo boosts confidence, Virgo calms chaos
    • For couples – his and hers zodiac candles together
    • Fun gifts – "You’re such a typical Aries – here’s your candle!"
    • For mom – thoughtful and personal

How to use a horoscope candle?

    Simple. Light it when:

    • You need peace and calm (Pisces, Cancer)
    • You want energy for work (Aries, Leo)
    • You’re planning a romantic evening (Libra, Taurus)
    • You meditate or practice yoga (Scorpio, Capricorn)
    • Or just when you want your home to smell nice

    What exactly do you get?

    • A handmade candle from our workshop in Královské Poříčí
    • A color linked to your sign – chosen with meaning, not random
    • A scent matching the element – fire smells different than water
    • 20–80 hours of light depending on size
    • Personalization option – name, date, short message

    Frequently asked questions

Do I have to believe in horoscopes?
Not at all. It’s more about having something beautiful and personal at home. But who knows – maybe there’s truth in it.

How do I know my zodiac sign?
By your birthday. Aries 21.3.–20.4., Taurus 21.4.–21.5.…

Can I choose a different color?
Of course! If Capricorn wants pink instead of brown, we’ll make it pink.

    Is this suitable for children?
Definitely! Kids love having "their own candle" – it feels like owning a star.

    A little stargazing thought

Next time you step outside at night, remember: you’re looking at the same sky your ancestors saw thousands of years ago. Orion is still hunting, the Big Dipper still turns, and the North Star still shows the way. Maybe, when you light your zodiac candle, you’ll feel that same timeless rhythm within you.

💫 Find your star candle: Choose your zodiac candle and let it shine. Whether you believe in horoscopes or not – light and fragrance never hurt.

  • Massage candles

💆 Massage Candles – light a candle, get warm oil

Know the situation? Your partner wants to give a massage, but the oil is cold, absorbs too fast, and soon it feels like you’re lying on plastic. Massage candles solve this brilliantly: light it, wait 10 minutes, and you’ve got warm oil that smells good, warms the skin, and, most importantly, lasts. It’s a little like magic—except it really works.

    How does it actually work?

No rocket science. The candle has a lower melting point than regular candles (around 40 °C / 104 °F). As it burns, it forms a pool of warm oil. Pour it into your palm and massage. It doesn’t burn; it gently warms. And because it’s a blend of shea butter and jojoba oil, your skin will feel baby‑soft afterwards.

What’s inside? (You’ll want to know this)

    Jojoba Oil – desert miracle

Native to Arizona; the seeds look like oversized coffee beans. Technically a liquid wax whose composition is close to human sebum. Result: absorbs like water into a sponge, non‑greasy, non‑comedogenic. Great even for the face.

    Shea Butter – African gold

Called the “tree of life” in Africa and used head‑to‑toe. Offers mild sun protection (natural SPF 4), hydrates dry skin better than most drugstore products. Packed with vitamins A and E — a natural anti‑aging boost.

Soy Wax – clean and simple

No GMO, no pesticides. Pure plant wax from soybeans. Burns slowly, doesn’t soot and, crucially, creates a pleasantly warm oil rather than hot wax like regular candles.

Which scents do we offer? (And what they’re great for)

For romance: Rose, Ylang‑Ylang — classic aphrodisiacs
For relaxation: Lavender, Spruce needles — you’ll be sleepy mid‑massage
For energy: Lemon, Lemongrass, Peppermint — wake up all your senses
For troubled skin: Tea Tree, Anise — antibacterial powerhouses
Fragrance‑free: Natural — when you don’t want perfume interference

    Beginner’s guide (it’s really easy)

    1. Light the wick — like any candle
    2. Let it burn 10–15 minutes — shower or pour some wine meanwhile
    3. Blow it out — wait a few seconds
    4. Pour oil into your palm — a little goes a long way
    5. Massage — back, legs, arms, wherever you like

💡 Pro tip: First time unsure? Test a small amount on your forearm — you’ll see it doesn’t burn.

    Who buys them?

    • Couples — “Finally a massage that’s fun.”
    • Moms — when kids sleep and it’s me‑time
    • Athletes — warm oil on tired muscles = heaven
    • Massage pros — appreciate the oil quality
    • People with dry skin — shea butter works wonders

    What customers say

“My husband finally massages longer than 2 minutes. The warm oil motivates him.” — Jana, 34

“I have eczema and this is the only oil that doesn’t irritate my skin.” — Tomáš, 28

“I gift them at weddings. Everyone asks later where to get them.” — Petra, 41

    FAQ

    Does it really not burn?
No. The oil is around 40 °C / 104 °F — like a warm bath. If it burned, nobody would buy it twice.

How long does one candle last?
About 5–6 massages. Depends how much oil you use — just back or full body.

    Does it stain?
Not if you don’t pour half the candle onto the sheets. It absorbs and isn’t greasy.

    Face‑safe?
Jojoba is great for facial skin. Be mindful with fragrances — sensitive skin can react.

    Suitable during pregnancy?
Base oils yes; be cautious with fragrances. Choose “Natural” or consult your doctor.

🕯️ Give it a try: One massage candle = many massages = happier skin (and maybe happier relationship). At around 350 CZK, it’s all upside.

  • Wedding Candles and...

💍 Wedding Candles – because every wedding deserves its own light

Do you remember that moment at a wedding when everyone goes quiet and the couple lights a candle together? That instant when two flames become one? It’s not just a beautiful tradition – it’s a symbol that from now on, you shine together. Wedding candles are made for those moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.

A true story (and why we do what we do)

Last June, a bride named Tereza came to us. Her wedding was in a week and she realized she had forgotten about candles. “I need a miracle,” she said. We sat down, chose colors to match her bouquet, made 50 small candles for the guests and one large one for the ceremony. We finished everything in just 4 days.

After the wedding she wrote: “When we lit the big candle together, my grandmother started crying. She said it reminded her of her own wedding 60 years ago. And the small candles? People took them home and are sending us photos of them on their shelves.”

This is why we do it. A candle is not just decoration – it’s a piece of your day that your guests will take home with them.

What we can create for your wedding

    🕯️ Main Wedding Candle

The big, important one you light during the ceremony. We can add your names, date, or monogram. Most couples keep it at home and light it every anniversary.

    💑 Unity Ritual Candles

Two smaller candles (bride and groom) + one large (shared life). A classic that works at every wedding.

    🎁 Guest Favors

Small candles with name tags or wedding date. Better than almonds – people actually keep them. From 30 CZK per piece for larger orders.

    🌸 Table Decorations

Sets of 3–5 candles of varying heights. Looks professional and doesn’t cost much. Plus, after the wedding, you can gift or resell them.

    ❤️ Heart with 6 Wicks

For a dramatic effect during the first dance. When lit, it looks like a small firework.

    Colors – what’s trending now?

    2024/2025 Trends:
Sage green + white – natural weddings, boho style
Terracotta + beige – autumn weddings, rustic style
Dusty blue + gold – elegant, slightly vintage
    Classic white/ivory – timeless
Black + gold – for bold couples

Send us a photo of your bouquet or decoration – we’ll match your shades exactly.

    How it works (super simple)

    1. Write or call us – tell us your wedding date and idea
    2. We send a proposal – photos, prices, options
    3. You choose – we adjust if needed
    4. We craft – 2–3 weeks, express available with surcharge
    5. Delivery – in person or courier, safely packaged

    Practical tips from wedding coordinators

    • No fragrance for the ceremony – so it doesn’t overpower the bouquet or perfume
    • With fragrance for the evening – lavender calms, vanilla creates warmth
    • Watch out for drafts – outdoor weddings = candles in glass or lanterns
    • Backup lighter – always. Preferably two.
    • Photogenic details – ribbon around the candle in wedding colors = stunning photos

    Prices

    Approximate prices:
Main wedding candle with personalization: from 450 CZK
Unity set (3 candles): from 650 CZK
Guest favors: 79–150 CZK each depending on quantity
Table decoration sets: 200–500 CZK per set

Orders over 2000 CZK get a 10% discount. Ask for a custom quote.

    FAQ

Can you make them within 2 weeks?
Normally we need 3 weeks. Express within 1 week for +30%. Depends on order size.

Can we add our own text?
Of course! Names, date, quote, inside joke… Just not a novel.

What if the wedding gets canceled?
You can cancel up to 14 days in advance. We’ll refund minus the material costs.

    Do you deliver abroad?
Yes, we ship by courier. Allow 2–3 extra days.

💕 Final note: In 10 years, we’ve made candles for hundreds of weddings. Small, big, traditional, crazy. Each one was unique, but they all had one thing in common – when the couple lit the candle, everyone stopped taking pictures and just watched. That’s the magic we do this for.

  • Letter Candles –...

🔤 Letter Candles – initials A–Z (full alphabet)

You want something personal without going over the top? A letter-shaped candle is that perfect middle ground. It’s the first initial of a name, hand-cut, hand-decorated, and set on a base. It looks like a tiny piece of art – and everyone instantly knows who it’s for.

The little story that started it all

Three years ago a mum visited us with her triplets – Adam, Alena and Antonín. All three shared a birthday, and she wanted each child to get “something of their own”. We made three candles shaped like the letter A – each in a different colour. Adam got blue, Alena pink, Antonín green.

“For the first time in their lives they didn’t argue about presents,” she laughed when she picked them up. “Each one knew exactly which A was theirs.”

Since then we’ve been making letters. And we’ve learned it’s not just for kids.

Who buys letter candles – and why?

    👶 Parents for children

The very first initial for a 1st birthday. Or when learning to write – “Look, that’s your L for Lucy!” Kids love it because it’s THEIR letter.

    💑 Couples

Two letters side by side – M + T, like Michael and Teresa. On the nightstand, on the wedding table, as an anniversary gift. We also make intertwined monograms.

    🎁 Friends to friends

“Best friends forever” – each with her own letter. Or the whole name spelled out – ANNA, PETER, JULIA.

    🏠 Interior designers

Surprisingly often. A letter as a décor accent – the homeowner’s initial, the family name’s first letter. In the bookcase, on the mantel, in the hallway.

    What exactly do you get?

    • A 10–15 cm high letter – big enough to stand out, small enough to fit anywhere
    • Wooden base – steady and stable
    • Hand decoration – reliefs, ornaments, fine detailing
    • Your colour palette – from classic white to bold rainbow
    • Optional personalisation – date or short note on the base

How to pick the right colour?

For kids: bright colours – red, blue, green, yellow
For teenagers: black, purple, turquoise – something cool
For adults: elegant – gold, silver, white, burgundy
For minimalists: natural wax, beige, grey
    For maximalists: rainbow, glitter, multi-colour

    Special commissions we’ve made

    • Full alphabet for a school – 30 letters for a first-grade class
    • XL 30 cm letter – centrepiece for a birthday party
    • Company initials – reception décor with brand letters
    • Wedding monogram – intertwined initials of the couple
    • Chinese characters – yes, we can do that (with a template)

    How to order

    1. Tell us the letter – e.g., “K for Katherine”
    2. Pick a colour – or leave it to us
    3. Extras? – date, short dedication
    4. We craft – 5–10 days
    5. Pickup or shipping – gift-wrapped and ready

    FAQ

Do you have the whole alphabet?
    Yes, A to Z – plus accented letters (Č, Ř, Š, Ž) and even Ď, Ť, Ň when needed.

Can I order a full name?
Absolutely! MARIE = 5 letters = 5 candles. Quantity discounts apply.

Do they burn like normal candles?
Yes, though most people keep them unlit – they’re too pretty to burn. If you wish, light them.

    How much do they cost?
Single letter from 299 Kč. Monogram (2 joined letters) from 480 Kč. Full names = discount.

    Do you make numbers?
Not yet, but we’re considering it. If there’s demand, we’ll dive in.

💭 Final thought: The best thing about letters? We each have our own. A tiny piece of identity you can hold. And if you dare to light it, your name glows in the dark. It’s not just a candle – it’s your signature in wax.

    📞 Order your letter: +420 723 913 541 or info@svitsol.cz
Tell us the letter, colour and who it’s for. We’ll handle the rest.

  • Cylindrical Candles –...

🕯️ Cylindrical candles – the shape discovered by the ancients

Ever wonder why most candles are cylindrical? It’s not an accident or lazy manufacturing. The cylinder is simply the smartest candle shape—it burns the longest, barely drips, stands firmly, and uses almost all the wax. It took people centuries to figure this out. We know it well and make cylinders from tiny 5 cm pillars up to massive 25 cm giants as tall as a person.

A short (and genuinely interesting) history lesson

Picture a medieval monk in a monastery. All day he pours wax, testing shapes—pyramids, spheres, prisms. Everything either burns down too fast, tips over, or the wax runs off to the sides. Until one day he tries a cylinder. And boom—it burns evenly, stands like a rock, and lasts all night.

This isn’t a fairy tale. In the 13th century, candle‑making guilds officially recognized the cylinder as the “proper shape” for retail candles. Why? Because it produced the least waste during manufacturing (wax was expensive) and gave customers the most light for their money. That hasn’t changed.

What we can make for you

    📏 Small cylinders (Ø 2,5–10 cm, height 7.5–20 cm)

Perfect for dinner tables, bathrooms, nightstands. Burn time 20–40 hours. Freestanding—no holder needed.

    📐 Medium cylinders (Ø 10–15 cm, height 20–50 cm)

The living‑room classic. Handles a week of daily burning. A favorite of households and restaurants.

    📏 Large cylinders (Ø 15–25 cm, height 50–100 cm)

A statement piece. Light it and everyone looks. Burns 200+ hours with ease. You’ll find them in hotel lobbies and churches.

    🏗️ Giants (height 100–180 cm!)

At that point, it’s not a candle—it’s a sculpture. Made to order for weddings, exhibitions, film productions. We have a 150 cm, 45 kg pillar in storage—want to see a photo?

A real story from our workshop

Last winter, a priest from the Ore Mountains called. He needed a candle that would last through Midnight Mass and another full week. Regular candles burned out in one evening.

We made him a cylinder 10 cm in diameter and 60 cm tall. When he picked it up, he said, “That’s a cannon, not a candle!” Later he sent a photo from the church—the candle burned from Christmas Eve to Epiphany. Nonstop. He now orders three every year.

Why cylinders are best (physics made simple)

    • Even burn—the flame stays centered, wax melts symmetrically
    • Maximum stability—low center of gravity, wide base = no tipping
    • Economical—up to 95% of wax is used (other shapes: ~70%)
    • Universal—fits anywhere, from a romantic dinner to a cathedral concert
    • Great value—efficient production = better price for you

    Most popular choices

TOP 1: 10×20 cm cylinder, white or cream—universal for any home
TOP 2: 7×15 cm cylinder, red—for romance and Christmas
TOP 3: 15×30 cm cylinder, natural wax—for eco‑fans and minimalists
Special: 10×25 cm rainbow cylinder—for the bold

    Frequently asked questions

How long does the biggest cylinder burn?
Our record: a 180 cm pillar that burned for 450 hours. That’s almost 19 days nonstop.

Will wax run onto the table?
If there’s no draft and the wick is trimmed, the wax stays inside. We still recommend a plate underneath.

    Can I choose exact dimensions?
Absolutely. Say “13.7 × 28.3 cm” and we’ll make it. Custom production takes about a week.

    Paraffin vs. soy?
Paraffin burns longer and costs less. Soy burns cleaner and is eco‑friendly. We make both.

    Do you make relief cylinders?
Yes—on request. Relief pillars with mandalas, ornaments, or logos.

  • Cone Candles –...

🔺 Cone Candles – A Shape Reaching for the Sky

The cone is perhaps the oldest candle shape in history. Why? Because dripping wax naturally forms a cone. Our ancestors knew this – and we carry it on, only with one big difference: our cones don’t drip on the table. We craft them precisely, so they look like small sculptures and burn cleanly.

A story no one will tell you

Last year we did a wedding for a yogini. She wanted 30 white cones placed on the ground in a circle around the altar. "The cone points upward, just like our love," she explained. The skeptical groom watched as we arranged the candles. Then they lit them...

And what happened? All 150 guests went silent. The flames created a circle of light pointing skyward, and it felt as if the entire space was levitating. Later the groom admitted: “The first thing I bought after the wedding was 10 cones for home.”

Since then, we know – a cone is not just a candle. It’s a direction.

Why do people love cone candles? (And why some don’t)

    ✅ Pros:

    • Stable base – won’t topple easily
    • Flame on top – light rises upwards, no glare

    • Highly photogenic – Instagram-worthy

    ❌ Cons:

    • Burns faster than a cylinder of the same weight
    • Harder to make = more expensive
    • Some say it looks like a traffic cone 😅

  • Pyramid Candles –...

🔻 Pyramid Candles – Shapes That Draw Attention

Do you know why so many cultures built pyramids? Egypt, the Maya, the Aztecs... They all independently discovered that the pyramid is a shape that concentrates energy. Whether that’s true or not, one thing is certain – when you light a pyramid candle, everyone stares at it. It’s simply hypnotic.

A story that changed our view of pyramids

A year ago, a man who collects minerals came to us. He wanted a black pyramid exactly 33.3 cm high. “It must be exactly one-third of a meter,” he insisted. He said it had something to do with the proportions of the Pyramids of Giza. We made it for him.

A month later he called: “I don’t know how it works, but ever since I’ve had that pyramid in my study, I can focus better. I need five more.”

Placebo? Maybe. But since then we’ve been making pyramids for programmers, writers, students before exams... And they all say the same thing – it helps them think.

What makes the pyramid so special?

    🧠 Psychological effect

The tip points upwards = so do your thoughts. It’s like a visual reminder: “Focus.” Works better than a Post-it on the monitor.

    🏛️ Architectural element

A pyramid never looks random. Even if you just place it on a table, it looks intentional. Instant interior upgrade.

    🔥 Unique burning

The flame at the top of the pyramid looks like a beacon. The light bends along the edges and creates fascinating shadows. At night it looks like a little theater.

    Our pyramid collection

Mini: 10x10 cm – for the desk, next to the PC
Medium: 20x20 cm – for the living room, on the sideboard

Giant: 50x50 cm – almost an artwork

    • Galaxy: Black with glitter – like a piece of the universe
    • Gradient: Smooth color transition from bottom to top
    • Chakra set: 7 pyramids in chakra colors

Who buys pyramid candles? (It may surprise you)

IT companies: For meeting rooms – said to boost brainstorming
Math teachers: As a teaching aid that also glows at night
Feng shui consultants: Claim the pyramid “cleanses room energy”
Photographers: Love how pyramids look in photos
Everyday people: Because it’s cool and nobody else has one

How to choose the right pyramid?

For study/office: Black or dark blue, unscented – for focus
For bedroom: Beige or white with lavender – for calm
For living room: Match the interior, ideally 3 sizes together
For parties: Metallic (gold/silver) – wow effect
As a gift: Medium size in a neutral color + nice packaging

Practical info (to make it work)

    1. Always use a plate – even if we say it doesn’t drip, better safe than sorry
    2. First burn = important – let it burn at least an hour
    3. Keep the wick short – max 7 mm, otherwise it smokes
    4. Stable surface – pyramid on a tilted table = disaster
    5. Watch out for cats – they love knocking pyramids off shelves (tested)

    Frequently asked questions

Is it true that the pyramid concentrates energy?
Scientifically? No. But many people feel it does. Maybe psychology, maybe more. Try it.

Why is a pyramid more expensive than a cylinder of the same size?
More complex production. We have to pour it layer by layer and control the angles. One mistake = crooked pyramid = waste.

Can I have a pyramid with my own relief?
On the back side, yes. On the edges, no – technically impossible. Logo, monogram, date – all possible.

    Which color is most popular?
Black (30%), white (25%), natural wax (20%), the rest are wild colors.

Is a pyramid suitable for churches?
Surprisingly, yes! Some parishes use white pyramids during vigils. They say it symbolizes the path to heaven.

🔺 Fun fact: The largest pyramid-shaped candle was 8 meters tall and stood in Las Vegas. It burned for 2 months. We don’t make them that big, but a 50 cm pyramid is still impressive.

  • Triangle Candles

🔺 Triangle Candles – the shape that holds it all together

Try stacking cards into a triangle – they stand. Try any other shape – they fall. The triangle is simply the most stable shape in the universe. That’s why architects use it for bridges, why roofs are triangular – and why we make candles in this shape. They’re stable, original, and everyone asks: “Where did you get that?”

A true story (a little esoteric)

Last year a therapist came to us. “I need triangular candles for couples therapy,” she said. We looked at her a bit oddly. She explained: “The triangle symbolizes a relationship – two people and their shared path. When couples see a burning triangle, it reminds them that there are not just two, but three entities – him, her, and the relationship.”

We made her 20 pieces. Six months later she ordered 50 more. “It works,” she wrote. “Couples buy them for their homes and light them whenever they need to be reminded of what matters.”

Since then we know – a triangle is not just geometry. It’s a symbol.

Why people want triangles (Top reasons)

1️⃣ The symbolism of the number 3

    Past-Present-FutureBody-Mind-SoulFather-Mother-Child
The number three is everywhere. Three wishes from a genie, three fairies, the Holy Trinity. The triangle represents them all.

    2️⃣ Original design

How many triangular candles have you seen? Exactly. Put one on a table and everyone asks about it. It’s a conversation starter.

    3️⃣ Stability (it really works)

It won’t fall, even if someone bumps the table. Wide base, low center of gravity. Perfect for households with kids or cats.

    4️⃣ Fascinating shadows

When burning, it casts triangular shadows on the wall. Like a mini light show. Instagram loves it.

    Our triangular collection

    📐 Equilateral triangles

Mini (7 cm side): For bookshelves
Medium (15 cm): Classic table size
    Large (25 cm): Statement piece
Giant (40 cm): Made to order, weighs 3 kg

    📏 Tall triangles

Taller than wide – a more dramatic look. They resemble small mountains.

    🎨 Special editions

    • 3D effect: Each side in a different color
    • Striped: Horizontal stripes – retro vibe
    • Galaxy: Black with glitter
    • Ombré: Gradient from dark to light
    • Set of 3 sizes: Small-Medium-Large, like Russian nesting dolls

    Who buys triangles?

Couples: “It’s about us and our shared life”
Mathematicians: “Finally a candle that makes geometric sense”
    Designers: “Brutalist shape, minimalist aesthetics”
Esoteric fans: “Triangles focus energy” (maybe yes, maybe no)
Parents of three kids: “Each corner is one child” (cute!)
Companies: Triangle-shaped logo? We do corporate editions

Practical uses (not just for looks)

Family rituals: Light it when all three are home
Business meetings: Triangle = 3 main agenda points
Meditation: Focus on one corner, then the next, then the last
    Celebrations of thirds: 30, 33, 60, 63… anything divisible by 3
Decoration: Three triangles of different sizes = instant art installation

How to make a triangle burn perfectly

    1. Flat surface only – triangle on a slanted table = disaster
    2. First burn at least 1 hour – so the wax forms properly
    3. Wick 5–7 mm – not longer, or it will smoke
    4. Plate underneath – just in case, even if stable
    5. Rotate – turn 120° after each burn for even burning

    FAQ

    Why triangle and not square?
Squares melt into the corners while burning. Triangles keep their shape – and look more interesting.

    Can text be added?
On one side, yes. Dates, names, short messages. Not on the edges – technically impossible.

    Which triangles sell best?
Medium black. Second is white. Third is red (popular for Valentine’s Day).

Can I have a photo on it?
Technically yes, but only visible from one side. For photos, we recommend cylinders instead.

    Do triangles have magical power?
We’re candle makers, not magicians. But many people believe – and belief is sometimes enough.

🔺 Fun fact: The Bermuda Triangle covers 1.3 million km². Our largest triangle covers 0.16 m². Both are mysterious, but ours smells better.

  • Sphere candles –...

⚪ Sphere Candles – when you want the perfect shape without compromise

Do you know what’s the hardest to make? A perfect sphere. Every bump shows, every bubble ruins the impression. The sphere is the most demanding candle shape to create – and maybe that’s why it’s so fascinating. When we succeed, it looks like a little planet on your table. It glows evenly in all directions and feels as if it’s levitating.

The story of a sphere that saved a party

Last year a customer called us in panic. “In two hours, 20 people are coming, power outage, no candles!” We quickly delivered three large spheres – white, cream and gold. She placed them in the middle of the table.

Guess what happened? Guests thought the blackout was intentional. “This sphere lighting is genius,” they praised. “It looks like an art installation.” To this day, she hosts “sphere dinners” – deliberately without electricity.

Since then we know – a sphere is not just emergency light. It’s a design statement.

Why spheres are so special (and why more expensive)

    🌍 360° light

A cylinder shines sideways, a cone upwards. A sphere? Everywhere equally. It’s the only shape that lights up a room evenly. Physics, buddy.

    🎯 Toughest to make

Try making a perfect wax sphere. You can’t just pour it into a mold like a cylinder. We rotate, sand and polish it. One sphere = 3x more work than a cylinder. That’s why the price.

    🧘 Zen factor

No edges = your brain doesn’t need to “decide” where to look. That’s why spheres are calming. Seriously – it’s proven.

    ✨ Instagram magnet

Put a sphere on the table, snap a pic – guaranteed 200 likes. Spheres are photogenic, period.

Our sphere collection (from ping-pong to bowling size)

    🏓 Mini spheres (⌀ 5–6 cm)

Like a tennis ball. Burns 8–10 hours. Best in sets of 3–5. Often bought for weddings – one per table.

    🎾 Medium spheres (⌀ 8–10 cm)

The classic. Burns 20–30 hours. One is enough for a whole romantic weekend. Bestseller.

    ⚽ Large spheres (⌀ 12–15 cm)

Like a football. Burns 50+ hours. Weighs over a kilo. Place it on a table – instant silence.

    🏀 Mega spheres (⌀ 20+ cm)

Custom-made. Weighs 3–5 kilos. Burns for a week straight. We keep one in the shop window – people take selfies with it.

    Who buys spheres and why?

Feng Shui fans: “Spheres harmonize energy” (okay, we believe you)
Minimalists: “One perfect object > ten random ones”
Photographers: “That light! That reflection! That symmetry!”
Restaurants: “Looks pricier than it is”
Mathematicians: “Finally, a candle with minimum surface-to-volume ratio”
Everyday people: “It just looks nice”

Practical tips (to keep your sphere round)

    1. Always use a plate – spheres can roll (yes, really!)
    2. First burn is crucial – at least 2 hours to form a wax pool
    3. Rotate it – turn 90° after each use for even burning
    4. Keep wick short – too long = oval flame
    5. No draft – sphere + wind = wax everywhere

    Special editions (for the brave)

    • Marble sphere: White with veins – looks like Carrara marble
    • Rainbow: 7 color layers, changing as it burns
    • Galaxy: Black with glitter – like a piece of space
    • Earth: Blue-green – replica of our planet (Earth Day bestseller)
    • Disco: Glitter inside – sparkles while burning

    FAQ

Why more expensive than a cylinder of the same weight?
Takes 3x longer to make. Plus half don’t turn out perfect = discarded. You pay for the one that did.

    Don’t they roll away?
They have a flat base (our trick). But yes – on a tilted table, Newton wins.

Can I have a sphere with a photo?
Technically no. The picture would distort. But we can make a half-sphere with a photo – compromise.

    Most popular colors?
White (40%), black (20%), gold (15%), red (10%), rest are crazy colors.

Do spheres burn differently than cylinders?
Yes – flame is bigger and “dances” more. Looks livelier. Wax consumption similar.

🌍 Fun fact: Earth is not a perfect sphere – it’s slightly flattened. Our candle spheres are rounder than the planet you live on. NASA, take notes.

    📞 Want a sphere? +420 723 913 541 or info@svitsol.cz
Standard sizes in stock. Special colors & mega spheres made to order – 2 weeks.

  • Prism Candles –...

🟦 Prism Candles – when you want strength and tradition in one

The prism is a shape for people who don’t want compromises. No rounded corners, no “maybe”. Four walls, sharp edges, solid base. And also a story that will give you goosebumps – we have a prism mold that’s older than your great-grandmother.

    A 130-year-old mold (not a joke)

In 1894, a candle maker in Bohemia commissioned a brass mold for a prism with rays on the sides. He believed that the rays would “catch the light and scatter the darkness around the house.” The mold survived two world wars, communism, and revolution. Now it’s with us.

When we pour wax into it, it’s a ritual. The mold is heavy, we need to preheat it, and pour the wax slowly. Every prism from it is a bit different – sometimes a deeper ray, sometimes a shallower one. It’s like a fingerprint from the 19th century.

Customers who buy such a prism often write: “When I light it, I feel it shines exactly like it did 130 years ago.” And you know what? They’re right.

Why a prism? (The answer may surprise you)

    📐 Physics on our side

The prism has the most stable center of gravity of all shapes. You can bump the table, the cat won’t knock it over, and during an earthquake it would still stand. (We don’t test earthquakes, but we believe it.)

    💡 Free light show

When the flame dances, the edges cast sharp shadows that move along the walls. It’s like having a small theater at home. A cylinder can’t do that.

    🏛️ Architectural element

Place a prism on a shelf – it looks like a sculpture. Light it – it looks like a beacon. In both cases, it looks expensive (even if it’s not).

    🕰️ Nostalgia that works

Prisms were made back when there was no electricity. People used them because they lasted and gave long light. Today we use them for the same reasons + they look cool.

    What do we offer?

    📦 Modern smooth prisms

Square 7x7 cm: Basic model, burns 30 hours
Rectangle 10x5 cm: Elegant, fits narrow shelves
Mega prism 15x15 cm: Weighs 2 kg, burns for a week

☀️ Historical prisms with rays (limited edition!)

From the 130-year-old mold. We make max 10 pieces a month – the mold is fragile, and we don’t want to destroy it. Each comes with a certificate and serial number. Currently 3 pieces in stock.

    🎨 Special editions

    • Brutalist prism: Rough surface, looks like concrete (hipsters love it)
    • Gradient: Transition from black to white – modern art
    • Cube 10x10x10: Perfect cube, Rubik’s Cube in wax
    • Double prism: Two joined prisms of different heights

    Who buys prisms? (Surprising stats)

    35% Architects & designers: “It’s pure geometry”
25% Collectors: Especially the historical ones with rays
20% Restaurants: On tables, it looks minimalist
15% Esoterics: They say the prism “grounds energy”
    5% Mathematicians: Because… they’re mathematicians

How to take care of a prism?

    1. Flat surface – prism on a tilted table = bad idea
    2. First burn 2-3 hours – must create an even “pool”
    3. Rotate after use – turn 90°, burns more evenly
    4. Wick 5-7 mm – longer = smokes and drips along edges
    5. Handle historical pieces carefully – wax is different from modern ones

    Customer stories

“I bought a historical prism with rays for my granddad (92). He cried. He said they had such a candle when he was a boy.” – Pavel, 45

“I have a collection of 20 prisms of different sizes. When I light them all, my apartment looks like a temple.” – Tereza, 31

“The brutalist prism is the best thing in my minimalist apartment. Everyone asks where I got it.” – Matěj, 28

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is the mold really 130 years old?
Yes. We have documents from a restorer who dated it. It’s from 1894, maker J. Novák, Pilsen.

Can I preorder a historical prism?
Yes, but you’ll wait. We make 10 pieces a month, waiting time 2-3 months.

Why is a prism more expensive than a cylinder?
More complex production, we need to control all four sides. Plus, the historical ones are basically art.

Does a prism burn differently than a cylinder?
A bit faster (larger surface area), but more stably. The flame is calmer.

Can you make a prism with my logo?
Yes, on one side. Corporate prisms available from 50 pcs.

🏛️ Final fact: The largest prism candle in the world weighed 500 kg and stood in Cologne Cathedral. It burned for 3 months. We don’t make them that big, but a 15x15 cm prism is also respectable.

    📞 Want a prism? Call 723 913 541 or email info@svitsol.cz

  • Mandala candles with base

🌸 Mandala Candles with Stand – a Circle that Holds Everything Together

A mandala is not just a pretty pattern. It is a circle without beginning or end, a symbol that everything is connected. Our mandala candles with stands are like small altars – a stable base below, a perfect circle above. When burning, they create a unique central-burning effect. The flame gradually carves through the wax from top to bottom, forming a “U” shape in the center. It looks as if a mysterious temple of light is opening inside.

    A story that touched us

Last year a yoga teacher came to us. “I need a mandala that lasts 12 hours,” she said. That’s a sacred number in yoga. We made her a mandala 25 cm in diameter with a double wick.

A month later she wrote: “It burned for exactly 12 hours and 17 minutes. The 17 minutes extra were my wish.” She sent a photo – the mandala had burned into a beautiful U-shape. It looked like a small portal full of light.

Since then, we’ve been making “12-hour mandalas.” People use them for retreats, meditation, or when they need to end something and begin anew.

Why a mandala with a stand? (It’s not just design)

🎯 Stability – physical and mental

The stand = the candle doesn’t fall. But it’s also symbolic – a firm base (stand) and endless possibilities (circle). Deep? Maybe. Does it work? Absolutely.

    🌀 The “U-shape” effect

As the mandala burns, a deep U-shape forms inside. Light shines through the walls and casts gentle shadows around the room. Some people find it hypnotic (in a good way).

    🏛️ Looks like art

Place the mandala on a table – even unlit, it looks like a sculpture. When lit, it looks like a living sculpture. Win-win.

    🧘 A meditation tool

Fixing your gaze on the center of a burning mandala is an ancient meditation technique. It calms the mind. Or puts you to sleep. Both are fine.

    Our mandala collection

⭕ Classic mandalas (diameter 15-20 cm)

Basic model. Burns 12-20 hours. Stand 5 cm high. Most often white or cream. Universal.

⭕ Large mandalas (diameter 25-30 cm)

Statement piece. Burns 18-24 hours. When lit, the room feels like a temple. Popular with yoga studios.

⭕ Mini mandalas (diameter 10 cm)

For a bedside table or bathroom. Burns 8-15 hours. Cute, but still functional.

    🎨 Special editions

    • Color mandala: 4-7 colors in concentric circles
    • Gold/Silver: With metallic dust, shimmering
    • Relief: Carved design on the top
    • Chakra set: 7 mandalas in chakra colors
    • Personalized: Your initials or date in the center

    Who buys mandalas and why?

Yogis & meditators: “Helps me focus”
Therapists: “I use it in sessions with clients”
Couples: “We have a shared mandala, we light it on anniversaries”
    Designers: “It’s functional decor”
People in crisis: “When I’m lost, I light a mandala and just watch”
Instagrammers: “That light show! Those photos!”

How to use a mandala properly

    1. Place on a flat surface – the stand is stable, but not magic
    2. First burn at least 2 hours – to form the first center
    3. Watch it burn – every mandala burns differently, it’s alive
    4. Wick at 5 mm – shorter = better burning
    5. Enjoy it – a mandala isn’t just a candle, it’s an experience

    Personalization (people love this)

For an extra 180 Kč we carve into the mandala:

    • Initials (M + T)
    • Date (14.2.2025)
    • Short word (LOVE, PEACE, OM)
    • Number (30, 108, 2025)
    • Small symbol (heart, star, moon)

The text appears as the mandala burns. It’s like magic – the message reveals itself in the light.

    Frequently asked questions

What if the mandala burns unevenly?
That’s normal! Each burns slightly differently. Irregularities create unique patterns. It’s a feature, not a bug.

Can I have a mandala without a stand?
Yes, we have those too – category “Mandala Circle.” But with a stand it’s more stable and looks more elegant.

What’s the difference between a mandala and a circle?
A mandala has symbolic meaning and often a relief design. A circle is just... a circle. We offer both.

Does a mandala burn differently than a regular candle?
Yes – it burns down the center into a U-shape. Slower, more meditative. Not a quick light, but atmosphere.

How much is the 108-hour mandala?
1108 Kč. Yes, that number is not random. Esoteric folks love it.

🕉️ Mystical fact: In Tibetan Buddhism, monks create sand mandalas and then destroy them – a symbol of impermanence. Our wax mandalas do the same – they burn, change, disappear. But the light stays in memory.

    📞 Want a mandala? 723 913 541 or info@svitsol.cz

  • Relief Candles

🌲 Relief Candles – when a candle has a face and a soul

Imagine taking a simple cylinder and carving a face into it. Or a tree. Or an abstract pattern. Relief candles are exactly that – candles we hand-finish until they become something between a candle and a sculpture. Each one is unique, because no hand ever makes the same twice.

The Story of the Forest Lord (our most famous relief)

Five years ago, we made a candle with the face of a bearded man. He looked a bit like a forest guardian, a bit like a cheerful grandpa. We put it in the shop window with no name.

The first customer said: "That’s the Forest Lord!" The second: "No, that’s the Spirit of the Forest." The third: "Looks like our Grandpa Stump." Within a month, the candle had 20 different names. So we gave up and now ask: "What will you call it?"

Today we get orders like: "I want your Gandalf" or "Send me that little Jesus." It’s always the same candle – but everyone sees something different. And that’s the beauty of it.

What kinds of reliefs do we make?

    😊 Faces and figures

Forest Lord/Spirit of the Forest: Our bestseller, the bearded guy
Bacchus: God of wine and joy, for party people
    Forest Fairy: Delicate female face
    Santa: For Christmas, of course
Your own face: Send us a photo – we’ll try (not always perfect)

    🌿 Nature motifs

Trees: Oak, linden, spruce – carved into wax
Leaves: Maple, oak, hemp (yes, those too)
    Animals: Owl, wolf, deer
    Mountains: For mountain lovers

    ✨ Symbols and abstractions

    Celtic knots: Interwoven patterns
    Mandalas: Carved, not poured
Runes: For the Viking at heart
    Own logo: Company or personal

    🎨 Draped cylinders

We take a finished cylinder and carve patterns into it. Each one is an original. They look like modern art pieces.

How does it work with colors?

The base is always brown (like a tree trunk). But the "coat" can be colorful:

    • Blue-pink: For romantics
    • Red-orange: Fiery, energetic
    • Purple-beige: Mystical, mysterious
    • Green-gold: Natural, forest-like
    • Your own combo: Tell us – we’ll mix it

Two-color combos = no extra charge. Three or more colors = art piece = surcharge.

    Scents (extra 120 Kč)

Forest: Fir, moss, a hint of mushrooms (yes, really)
    Fruity: Apple, pear, forest berries
    Fresh: Mint, eucalyptus, lemon
    Unscented: For purists

With scent, add +5 days for production. The wax needs to “accept” the aroma.

    Who buys relief candles?

Pub owners: Forest Lord above the bar – said to bring luck
    Spirituals: Claim reliefs have “energy”
Collectors: Own 10 of them, each different
Gift givers: "When I don’t know what to buy, I buy a relief"
Companies: Logo in relief = luxury gift

    Customer stories

"I bought the Forest Lord for my dad (75). He calls him Franta and greets him every evening." – Jana

"We have Bacchus in our pub. Guests toast with him. He’s our mascot." – Petr, pub owner

"I ordered a relief of our dog. Not perfect, but you can tell it’s a dog. Good enough." – Martina

    Production process (for the curious)

    1. Cast the basic shape – cylinder, cone, whatever you want
    2. Let it partially harden – soft but not liquid
    3. Hand carving – knives, chisels, sometimes even spoons
    4. Add details – beards, wrinkles, leaves
    5. Coloring – layer by layer
    6. Final touches – polishing, scent, wick

One candle = 2–3 hours of work. That’s why the price.

    FAQ

Can I order my own design?
We’ll try anything. Send us a sketch – we’ll tell you if it’s possible. 50% success rate.

Why is a relief more expensive?
2–3 hours of hand work vs. 5 minutes of pouring. Do the math.

    Does a relief burn differently?
Yes. Relief parts burn slower, creating fascinating shapes. It’s a show.

Can I get the same Forest Lord as my friend?
Similar, yes. Identical, no. Each is unique. But you’ll recognize him.

    How much does it cost?
Basic relief from 450 Kč. Complex designs up to 1500 Kč. Custom design = individual price.

🎭 Philosophical note: Every relief has a face. Some smile, some frown, some simply exist. Customers often say: "That candle is looking at me." And you know what? They’re right. A relief isn’t an object – it’s a being made of wax.

  • Christmas Candles –...

🎄 Christmas Candles – because fairy lights aren’t enough

Do you remember how Christmas smelled at grandma’s? Pine needles, cinnamon, honey, and wax. Christmas candles are all about bringing back that true light and scent. No blinking LED chains from China. We handcraft them at our workshop in Královské Poříčí, and each one is slightly different – just like Christmas is never the same twice.

A story that touched us (and made us laugh a little)

Last December, a lady from Prague called: "I need 50 angels for the kindergarten. Each child should get one." We made them – each with a different face, a different smile.

After Christmas, she wrote: "The children named their angels. We now have Pepík, Anička, and even Darth Vader (that one didn’t turn out perfectly). Some kids didn’t want to light them, because ‘they’d feel sorry’. Now they sit on their shelves at home."

Since then, we’ve been making angels with “character.” Some laugh, some look serious. People choose based on their mood.

What do we make for Christmas?

    👼 Angels (bestseller no. 1)

From 5 cm babies to 20 cm guardians. White, gold, silver. Some kids even draw eyes with markers (not recommended, but understandable).

    🎄 Christmas Trees

Mini (10 cm): On the plate with cookies
Medium (15 cm): Classic for the table
With gold/silver dust: Sparkles like the real thing

    ⛄ Snowmen

The only snowmen that survive until April. With hat, scarf (carved), and carrot (orange wax). Cuteness level 100.

    🌲 Pine Cones

Look real, smell of forest. Grandmas love them – "like a walk in the woods."

    ⭐ Stars and Spirals

For those who prefer something modern. Spirals cast hypnotic shadows as they burn.

    🚀 Cosmonauts (yes, really)

It started as a joke. Now we get orders for "space Christmas." A cosmonaut under the tree = instant conversation starter.

    🔔 “Bell Candle” (historic mold)

A cylinder with bells and ornaments. The mold is from 1952. Using it feels like a time machine.

    Scents we create (and why)

Pine: Classic. Smells like the forest. Best-seller.
Cinnamon: Warm, sweet. Perfect with mulled wine.
Honey: Gentle, subtle. For allergy-prone people.
Citrus + Pine: Fresh, modern Christmas.
    Vanilla: For cookie lovers.
Unscented: When you just want light.

How to create Christmas atmosphere (tested tips)

    🕯️ Advent wreath our way

4 cylinders in different heights. Light one more each Sunday. The height symbolizes the holidays getting closer.

    🏠 Wax nativity

Angel + tree + star = instant nativity. Kids love it because they can play with it.

    🪟 Window full of light

5–7 candles of different shapes on the sill. Looks magical from inside and outside in the evening.

    🎁 Candle as a gift

Wrap in kraft paper, add a twig of pine. Looks ten times more expensive than it is.

    Who buys Christmas candles?

Moms: "For the atmosphere" (and 5 minutes of peace)
    Grandmas: "Reminds me of childhood"
    Minimalists: "Better than tacky decorations"
Teachers: "For the classroom, calms the kids"
    Singles: "At least something Christmassy"
Companies: "Gift for clients that isn’t wine"

    Custom options

    • Corporate Christmas candles: Logo + Christmas motif
    • Family sets: Each member’s name on a candle
    • Alternative colors: Black Christmas? Pink? Rainbow? Why not.
    • Mega sizes: 50 cm tree? We make it.
    • Special shapes: We’ve already done Yoda, the Grinch, even Maria Theresa

    FAQ

When should I order to get them before Christmas?
By December 15, no problem. After December 20, express surcharge or pickup.

Will the candles last until next Christmas?
Yes, but why? Burn them this year, we’ll make new ones next year.

Can I get a golden angel with pink wings?
You can even have a rainbow unicorn if you want. Christmas comes only once a year.

Which candles do kids like most?
Cosmonauts and snowmen. Angels are usually bought by parents “for the kids.”

Can you make a Christmas candle with a photo?
Technically yes, but it looks odd. Better stick to classic motifs.

🎅 Christmas wisdom: The first electric Christmas light lit up in 1882, when Edison introduced the first string lights. Before that, only candles shone. And you know what? People enjoyed Christmas more back then. Maybe it’s time to switch off the blinking lights and light a candle.
