Do you know what’s the hardest to make? A perfect sphere. Every bump shows, every bubble ruins the impression. The sphere is the most demanding candle shape to create – and maybe that’s why it’s so fascinating. When we succeed, it looks like a little planet on your table. It glows evenly in all directions and feels as if it’s levitating.

The story of a sphere that saved a party

Last year a customer called us in panic. “In two hours, 20 people are coming, power outage, no candles!” We quickly delivered three large spheres – white, cream and gold. She placed them in the middle of the table.

Guess what happened? Guests thought the blackout was intentional. “This sphere lighting is genius,” they praised. “It looks like an art installation.” To this day, she hosts “sphere dinners” – deliberately without electricity.

Since then we know – a sphere is not just emergency light. It’s a design statement.

Try making a perfect wax sphere. You can’t just pour it into a mold like a cylinder. We rotate, sand and polish it. One sphere = 3x more work than a cylinder. That’s why the price.

🏓 Mini spheres (⌀ 5–6 cm)

Like a tennis ball. Burns 8–10 hours. Best in sets of 3–5. Often bought for weddings – one per table.

The classic. Burns 20–30 hours. One is enough for a whole romantic weekend. Bestseller.

Practical tips (to keep your sphere round)

1. Always use a plate – spheres can roll (yes, really!)
2. First burn is crucial – at least 2 hours to form a wax pool
3. Rotate it – turn 90° after each use for even burning
4. Keep wick short – too long = oval flame
5. No draft – sphere + wind = wax everywhere

FAQ

Why more expensive than a cylinder of the same weight?
Takes 3x longer to make. Plus half don’t turn out perfect = discarded. You pay for the one that did.

Don’t they roll away?
They have a flat base (our trick). But yes – on a tilted table, Newton wins.

Can I have a sphere with a photo?
Technically no. The picture would distort. But we can make a half-sphere with a photo – compromise.

Most popular colors?
White (40%), black (20%), gold (15%), red (10%), rest are crazy colors.

Do spheres burn differently than cylinders?
Yes – flame is bigger and “dances” more. Looks livelier. Wax consumption similar.
