  • Zodiac Sign Candles

Zodiac Sign Candles – Find Yours

Did you know that your grandmother probably knew more about the stars than you? People used to sow, harvest and marry by them. When there was no GPS, sailors navigated by the North Star and farmers knew that when Orion rises, winter is coming. Zodiac sign candles are our way of remembering that old wisdom – each of the 12 signs has its own colour, scent and energy.

A Short Story About How It Was

Imagine a shepherd thousands of years ago. Sitting by a fire, watching sheep, and above him the sky full of stars is turning. He sees stories there – Orion the hunter chasing the bull, the lion guarding summer, and the scorpion heralding the arrival of darkness. That is how the zodiac was born – a calendar in the sky that worked long before anyone invented paper.

Today we no longer need stars to survive, but something in us still ticks to their rhythm. That is why we make candles by zodiac sign – Aries gets fiery red, Pisces calming blue, Taurus earthy brown. It is a way to pause for a moment and remember that we are part of something bigger.

    Which Candle Belongs to You?

    Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

    Colours: Red, orange, gold
Scents: Cinnamon, orange, ginger – something to energise you
For whom: People who want action and hate boredom

    Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

    Colours: Brown, green, beige
Scents: Cedar, patchouli, vanilla – stable and calming
For whom: Those who love certainty and order

    Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

    Colours: Light blue, white, yellow
Scents: Lavender, mint, lemon – fresh and light
For whom: Communicators and dreamers with heads in the clouds

    Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

    Colours: Dark blue, purple, turquoise
Scents: Jasmine, rose, ocean freshness – deep and mysterious
For whom: Sensitive souls and intuitive personalities

When to Give a Zodiac Candle?

    • For birthdays – a classic that never disappoints
    • When someone needs encouragement – Leo boosts confidence, Virgo calms chaos
    • For couples – his and her sign side by side on the bedside table
    • As a fun gift – "You are such a typical Aries, so here is your candle!"
    • For mum – every mum appreciates when you think of her with something personal

How to Use a Horoscope Candle?

No science needed. Light it when:

    • You need a moment of peace (Pisces, Cancer)
    • You want energy for work (Aries, Leo)
    • You are planning a romantic evening (Libra, Taurus)
    • You meditate or practise yoga (Scorpio, Capricorn)
    • You simply want your home to smell wonderful

    What Exactly Will You Get?

    • A handmade candle from our workshop in Královské Poříčí
    • A colour matched to your sign – not random, but carefully considered
    • A scent tuned to the element – fire smells different from water
    • 20-80 hours of light depending on size
    • Personalisation option – name, date, short message

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to believe in horoscopes?
Not at all. It is mainly about having something beautiful and personal at home. Plus – who knows? There might be something to it.

How do I know my sign?
By date of birth. Aries 21.3.-20.4., Taurus 21.4.-21.5... Write to us with your date, we will advise.

Can I choose a different colour?
Of course! If Capricorn wants pink instead of brown, we will make it pink.

    Is it suitable for children?
Absolutely! Children love having "their own" candle by zodiac sign. It is like having your own star.

    A Little Starry Conclusion

Next time you go outside at night and see the stars, remember – you are looking at the same sky as your ancestors thousands of years ago. Orion is still hunting, the Big Dipper is still turning and the North Star still points north. And perhaps, just perhaps, when you light a candle by your zodiac sign, you will connect for a moment with that ancient rhythm that ticks in the stars and in you.

Find your star: Choose a candle by your zodiac sign and let it shine. Whether you believe in horoscopes or not, light and scent never hurt.

  • Romantic Candles

❤️ Romantic Candles – because sometimes saying "I love you" isn't enough

Do you know what's the hardest thing about love? Finding a way to show it other than with a gas station flower. Romantic Candles are for those moments when you want to create an atmosphere – whether you're planning to propose, celebrate a 20th anniversary, or just make someone happy. We make them by hand at the Farm in Královské Poříčí, and each one is a little different, just like every relationship.

When is a romantic candle a good idea?

    💑 Classic Occasions

    • Valentine's Day – February 14th, the day when even guys buy candles
    • Relationship Anniversary – first kiss, first date, wedding
    • Partner's Birthday – when you want more than just a cake
    • Engagement – candles all around, ring in your pocket

    🎭 Less Common Moments

    • Making up after an argument – a candle instead of an apology (but still apologize)
    • Announcing a pregnancy – light a candle and say "we're going to be three"
    • Moving – the first evening in a new apartment
    • Long separations – light one each at the same time
    • Just because it's Tuesday – because why not?

    What do we offer?

❤️ Large heart with 6 wicks

Our star – a massive heart that burns in six places at once. It looks like a small firework. Red and white combination, subtly sweet scent. When you want to say it out loud.

    💕 Small hearts

Cute, unobtrusive, lovely. Suitable for a bedside table, in the bathroom, on the dinner table. When a whisper is enough.

    🌹 Romantic sets

A combination of 3-5 candles in shades of red, pink, white. Different heights, same scent. When you want to make an impression.

    ✍️ Personalized

With your names, date, short message. "Forever yours", "10 years together", "Yes!". When you want it to be just yours.

Colors of love (and what they mean)

Red – passion, desire, "I want you"
Pink – tenderness, romance, "you're sweet"
White – purity, new beginning, "I believe in you"
Burgundy – mature love, "we've known each other for years and it still works"
Gold – luxury, uniqueness, "you're my treasure"

Want a different color? Write it in the order – we'll mix purple, blue, green... anything.

    Scents that enhance the mood

We usually make a subtly sweet fruity composition – it's not aggressive, more of a subliminal scent. But we can also do:

    • Rose – when you want a classic
    • Vanilla – warm, cozy
    • Jasmine – a little exotic
    • Unscented – if you have allergies or strong perfume

How to create the right atmosphere?

    Quick romance (10 minutes):
Turn off the main light, light 3-5 candles, put on some music, open a bottle of wine. Done.

Big event (planning for a week):
Pink petals on the bed, candles in the bedroom and bathroom, prepared dinner, phones turned off. The heart with 6 wicks as the finale.

    Daily ritual:
Every evening before bed, light a small candle and say what good things happened that day. Even if it was just that it didn't rain.

Personalization – your text on the candle

For an extra charge of, we will write on the candle:

    • Names (Petr & Jana)
    • Date (02/14/2024)
    • Numbers (10 years)
    • Short message (I love you)

Write the text in the order notes. We will send a preview for approval.

    Safety (boring, but important)

    • Place the candle on a non-flammable plate or tray
    • Do not leave burning unattended (even if you're just going for wine)
    • For the heart with 6 wicks, light all of them – otherwise it will burn unevenly
    • Watch out for curtains, tablecloths, cats

    Frequently Asked Questions

Will it look exactly like the picture?
Not quite. Each one is handmade, so it has its own unique "beauty flaws". But overall it will be similar.

How long does the large heart burn?
With 6 wicks, about 15-20 hours. But you usually won't light it all at once – use it in parts.

Can I choose my own text?
Sure! Just don't make it too long. "Honey, do you remember that night..." won't fit. "Forever yours" will.

Is it suitable for LGBT couples?
Of course! Love is love. Write the names, we'll make the candle.

💕 In conclusion: Candles can't save a relationship, but they can make for a nicer evening. And sometimes it's that nicer evening that saves the relationship. So go for it.

  • Wedding Candles &...

💍 Wedding candles – because every wedding needs its light

Do you remember that scene from a wedding where everyone falls silent and the newlyweds light a candle together? That moment when two flames become one? It's not just a nice tradition – it's a symbol that from now on, you will shine together. We make wedding candles for those moments that are remembered for a lifetime.

A true story (and why we do what we do)

Last June, a bride named Tereza came to us. She had a wedding in a week and realized she had forgotten about the candles. "I need a miracle," she said. We sat down, chose colors to match her bouquet, and made 50 small candles for the guests and one large one for the ceremony. We managed to do it all in 4 days.

After the wedding, she wrote to us: "When my husband and I lit the large candle, my grandmother started crying. She said it reminded her of her own wedding 60 years ago. And the small candles? People took them home and are sending us pictures of them on their shelves."

This is why we do it. A candle is not just a decoration – it's a piece of your day that guests will take home.

What can we do for your wedding?

    🕯️ Main wedding candle

The large, important one that you light during the ceremony. We can put your names, date, or monogram on it. Most couples then keep it at home and light it every anniversary.

💑 Candles for the unity ritual

Two smaller candles (him and her) + one large one (shared life). A classic that works at every wedding.

    🎁 Gifts for guests

Small candles with a name tag or wedding date. Better than almonds – people will actually keep these. From per piece for larger quantities.

    🌸 Table decorations

Sets of 3-5 candles of different heights. It looks professional and isn't expensive. Especially when you can sell or donate them after the wedding.

    ❤️ Heart with 6 wicks

For a dramatic effect during the first dance. When you light it, it looks like a small firework.

    Colors – what's trendy now?

    2024/2025 trends:
Sage green + white – natural weddings, boho style
Terracotta + beige – autumn weddings, rustic
Dusty blue + gold – elegant, a little vintage
Classic white/ivory – never goes out of style
Black + gold – for bold couples

Send us a picture of the bouquet or decorations – we'll mix the exact shades for you.

How does it work? (It's simple)

    1. You write or call – you tell us the wedding date and your idea
    2. We send a proposal – photos, prices, options
    3. You choose – we can adjust it if needed
    4. We produce – 2-3 weeks, express delivery for an extra charge
    5. We deliver – in person or by courier, packaged so that it survives

    Practical tips from wedding coordinators

    • No fragrance for the ceremony – so that it doesn't interfere with the bride's bouquet and perfume
    • Fragrance for the evening – lavender will calm, vanilla will create a pleasant atmosphere
    • Beware of drafts – outdoor weddings = candles in glass or lanterns
    • Backup lighter – always. Preferably two.
    • Photogenic details – a ribbon around the candle in the wedding color = great photos

    How much does it cost?

    Approximate prices:
    Main wedding candle with personalization:
Set for the ritual (3 candles):
Gifts for guests: 79-/piece depending on quantity
Decorative sets for tables: 200- per set
    Large heart with 6 wicks:

10% discount on orders over. Ask for a specific offer.

    Frequently asked questions

Can you do it in 2 weeks?
We normally need 3 weeks. Express delivery for an extra 30% within a week. It depends on the quantity.

Can we write our own text?
Of course! Names, date, quote, joke... Just don't make it a novel.

What if the wedding is canceled?
You can cancel up to 14 days before the date. We will refund the money minus the deposit for materials.

Do you also deliver to Slovakia?
Yes, we ship by courier. Allow 2-3 days extra.

💕 In conclusion: In 10 years, we have made candles for hundreds of weddings. Small, large, traditional, crazy. Each one was different, but they all had one thing in common – when the newlyweds lit the candle, everyone stopped taking pictures for a moment and just watched. That's the magic that we do it for.

  • Letter Candles –...

🔤 Letters – candle-shaped initial letters (the entire alphabet A-Z)

You know the feeling – you want to give something personal, but you don’t want to overdo it. A letter-shaped candle is the perfect middle ground. It’s the initial of a first name, hand-carved, decorated, and placed on a base. It looks like a small work of art, and everyone will immediately know who it’s for.

The story that started it all

Three years ago, a mother came to us. She had triplets – Adam, Alena, and Antonín. They all had birthdays, and she wanted each of them to receive something “special.” So, we made three letter A candles – each in a different color. Adam got blue, Alena got pink, and Antonín got green.

“For the first time in their lives, they didn’t argue about gifts,” she laughed when she came to pick them up. “Each of them knew which A was theirs.”

Since then, we’ve been making letters. And we’ve found that it’s not just for children.

    Who buys letters and why?

    👶 Parents for children

The first letter of their name for their 1st birthday. Or when a child is learning to write – “Look, this is your L, like Lucinka!” Children love it because it’s THEIR letter.

    💑 Couples

Two letters side by side – M + T, like Michal and Tereza. On a shelf in the bedroom, on the wedding table, as an anniversary gift. Sometimes we even make combined monograms.

    🎁 Friends for friends

“Best friends forever” – each has their own letter. Or an entire name made up of individual candles – ANNA, PETR, JULIE.

    🏠 Interior designers

Surprisingly many. A letter as a decorative element – the initial of the apartment owner, the first letter of the family’s last name. In the library, on the fireplace, in the hallway.

    What exactly will you receive?

    • A letter 10-15 cm high – large enough to stand out, small enough to fit anywhere
    • A wooden base – to keep the letter stable
    • Handmade decoration – reliefs, ornaments, fine details
    • Your color – from classic white to wild rainbow
    • Personalization options – date, short message on the base

How to choose the right color?

For children: Bright colors – red, blue, green, yellow
For teenagers: Black, purple, turquoise – something cool
For adults: Elegant – gold, silver, white, burgundy
For minimalists: Natural wax, beige, gray
For maximalists: Rainbow, glitter, multiple colors at once

    Special orders we’ve made

    • The entire alphabet for a school – 30 letters for the first grade
    • An XL 30 cm letter – for a birthday party as the main decoration
    • Company logo – the first letters of the company name in the reception area
    • Wedding monogram – intertwined letters of the newlyweds
    • Chinese characters – yes, we can do that too (with a template)

How does it work when you want to order?

    1. You write which letter you want – for example, “K for Kateřina”
    2. You choose a color – or leave it up to us
    3. You tell us if you want anything extra – date, dedication
    4. We make it – 5-10 days
    5. We send it or you pick it up – packaged as a gift

    Frequently asked questions

Do you have all the letters of the alphabet?
    Yes, A to Z. Plus diacritics – Č, Ř, Š, Ž. Even Ď, Ť, Ň (although not many people buy those).

Can I order an entire name?
Of course! MARIE = 5 letters = 5 candles. We’ll give you a discount for the quantity.

    Does it burn normally?
Yes, but most people don’t light them. They’re too beautiful to burn. But if you want to, feel free to light it.

    How much does it cost?
One letter from 299. A monogram (2 letters combined) from 480. An entire name = discount.

    Do you also make numbers?
Not yet, but we’re thinking about it. If there’s interest, we’ll get started.

💭 In conclusion: You know what’s best about letters? That everyone has their own. It’s like a small piece of identity that you can hold in your hand. And when you light it (if you dare), your name shines in the dark. It’s not just a candle – it’s your signature in wax.

    📞 Order your letter: 723 913 541 or info@svitsol.cz
Write which letter, what color, and who it’s for. We’ll take care of the rest.

  • Pillar Candles – A...

Pillar Candles — Cylindrical Shapes from 2 cm Diameter

Looking for thin cylindrical candles, with all candles having a diameter of 2 cm? We make them, along with every larger size up to 25 cm. The cylinder is the most practical candle shape ever devised — it burns evenly, stands on its own, and uses almost all the wax. Our smallest 2 cm pillars work as dinner table accents, advent wreath fillers, or replacements for taper candles in narrow holders. The largest reach 180 cm and weigh more than a child.

Diameter Range — From 2 cm to 25 cm

Slim Cylinders (diameter 2-4 cm, height 10-30 cm)

Our 2 cm cylindrical candles are the thinnest pillar format we produce. They fit standard taper candleholders, advent wreaths, and tight table arrangements. Burn time roughly 6-12 hours depending on height. Available in white, cream, red, black, and natural beeswax.

Small Pillars (diameter 5-10 cm, height 7.5-20 cm)

For the dinner table, bathroom, bedside table. Burns 20-40 hours. Stands on its own, no candleholder needed.

Medium Pillars (diameter 10-15 cm, height 20-50 cm)

Classic for the living room. Lasts a week of daily use. Most popular with homemakers and restaurants.

Large Pillars (diameter 15-25 cm, height 50-100 cm)

Statement piece. Burns easily 200+ hours. We have them in hotel lobbies and churches.

    Giants (height 100-180 cm)

This is not a candle, it is a sculpture. Custom-made for weddings, exhibitions, film productions.

    Why the Cylinder Shape Wins

    • Even burning — flame stays centred, wax melts symmetrically
    • Maximum stability — low centre of gravity, wide base, will not tip
    • Economical — roughly 95% of the wax is consumed, very little residue
    • Universal fit — works for romantic dinners, restaurants, churches, shop windows
    • Honest pricing — simple geometry means lower production cost passed to you

    Materials We Use

Every cylindrical candle is poured by hand in our workshop in Královské Poříčí, where we have been making candles for more than 20 years. We work with three waxes:

    • Paraffin — longest burn time, sharpest colour, lowest price
    • Beeswax — natural honey scent, golden tone, slow burn
    • Soy wax — clean burn, soft appearance, holds fragrance well

Cotton wicks throughout. Custom diameters, heights, and colours produced to order within one week.

    Top Sellers

TOP 1: 10×20 cm pillar, white or cream — universal for every home
TOP 2: 7×15 cm pillar, red — romance and Christmas
TOP 3: 15×30 cm pillar, natural wax — for minimalists
TOP 4: 2×20 cm slim cylinder — advent wreaths and narrow holders
Special: Rainbow pillar 10×25 cm — for the adventurous

    Practical Notes for Cylindrical Candles

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each lighting. Burn on a heat-resistant plate. Keep away from draughts — a flickering flame eats wax unevenly and shortens burn time. For 2 cm cylinders, expect 1-2 hours of burning per centimetre of height. For thicker pillars from 7 cm upwards, the first burn should last long enough for the melt pool to reach the outer edge, otherwise the candle tunnels.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a 2 cm cylindrical candle burn?
Roughly 6-12 hours depending on height. A 2×20 cm slim cylinder lasts about 10 hours of continuous use.

How long does the largest pillar burn?
Our record is a 180 cm pillar that burned 450 hours — nearly 19 days non-stop.

Does the wax drip on the table?
With no draught and a properly trimmed wick, the wax stays inside the candle. We still recommend a plate underneath.

Can I order an exact diameter or height?
Yes. Custom production takes about a week. Tell us diameter, height, colour, and quantity.

Paraffin or soy pillar — which to choose?
Paraffin burns longer and costs less. Soy burns cleaner and holds fragrance better. Beeswax sits between them with its natural honey scent.

Need cylindrical candles? Send dimensions, colour, and quantity: 723 913 541 or info@svitsol.cz
Dozens of variants in stock from 2 cm slim cylinders to 25 cm pillars. Custom orders ready within a week.

  • Cone Candles –...

🔺 Cone candles – a shape that points towards the sky

The cone is perhaps the oldest candle shape of all. Why? Because when wax drips down, it naturally forms a cone. Our ancestors knew this, and we are building on it – with the difference that our cones don't drip on the table. We make them precisely, cleanly, and so that they look like small sculptures.

A story that no one will tell you

Last year, we did a wedding for a yogi. She wanted 30 white cones placed on the ground in a circle around the altar. "The cone points upwards, like our love," she explained. The skeptical groom watched as we set up the candles. Then they lit them...

You know what happened? All 150 guests fell silent. The flames created a circle of light pointing upwards, and it looked as if the entire space was levitating. The groom then admitted: "The first thing I bought after the wedding was 10 cones for home."

Since then, we know – a cone is not just a candle. It is a direction.

Why do people love cones? (And why do some hate them)

    ✅ Advantages of a cone:

    • Looks luxurious – as if it belongs in a gallery
    • Stable base – it won't fall over even if you kick the table
    • Flame on top – the light goes straight up, it doesn't glare
    • Feng shui approved – energy rises, it supposedly cleanses the space
    • Instagram photogenic – every photo looks like it's from a magazine

    ❌ Disadvantages (let's be fair):

    • Burns faster than a cylinder of the same weight
    • More difficult to manufacture = more expensive
    • Some people think it looks like a traffic cone (well, yes)

    • Gold/silver – for Christmas and New Year's Eve
    • Black matte – for gothic souls
    • With relief – mandalas, ornaments, your monogram

    Who buys cones and why?

Architects and designers: "It's pure geometry"
Yogis and meditators: "It helps me focus energy"
Restaurant owners: "It looks more expensive than it is"
Ordinary mortals: "It's pretty and it didn't drip on my tablecloth"

How to make a cone burn perfectly?

    1. Place on a flat surface – no tilted tables
    2. Let the first burn last at least an hour – this creates the right "path" for the wax
    3. Wick max 1 cm – longer = smokes and drips
    4. No drafts – the cone is more sensitive to wind than a cylinder
    5. A plate under the candle – just in case, even if it shouldn't drip

    Frequently asked questions

Why is a cone more expensive than a cylinder?
More difficult to manufacture. We have to cast it in layers, otherwise it would collapse. We pour the cylinder at once.

    Does it really not drip?
If there is no draft and you have the wick trimmed correctly, it will not drip. We guarantee it. Otherwise, we will refund your money.

Can I have a cone with a photo?
Technically no – we can't put a photo on a sloping surface. But we can make a cylinder that looks like a cone (optical illusion).

    What color sells the most?
White (50%), black (20%), red (15%), the rest are crazy colors for the bold.

Is a cone suitable as a wedding candle?
Definitely! It symbolizes a shared journey upwards. We also make matching cones – for him and her.

🔥 Fun fact: In ancient Egypt, they believed that the smoke from a cone-shaped candle carried prayers directly to the gods. We don't know if it works, but when you see the flame of a cone dancing, you might believe it too.

  • Pyramid Candles –...

🔻 Pyramid Candles – Pyramids That Attract Attention

Do you know why so many cultures have pyramids? Egypt, the Mayans, the Aztecs... They all independently discovered that a pyramid is a shape that concentrates energy. We don't know if there's any truth to that, but one thing is certain – when you light a pyramid candle, everyone looks at it. It's simply hypnotic.

A Story That Changed Our View of Pyramids

A year ago, a man who collects minerals came to us. He wanted a black pyramid exactly 33.3 cm high. "It has to be a third of a meter," he insisted. He said it had something to do with the proportions of the pyramids in Giza. We made it.

A month later, he called: "I don't know how it works, but since I've had that pyramid in my office, I've been able to concentrate better. I need five more."

Placebo? Maybe. But since then, we've been making pyramids for programmers, writers, students before their final exams... And they all say the same thing – it helps them think.

What Makes a Pyramid So Special?

    🧠 Psychological Effect

The tip points upwards = your thoughts do too. It's like a visual reminder to "focus." It works better than a Post-it note on your monitor.

    🏛️ Architectural Element

A pyramid never looks random. Even if you just put it on a table, it looks like you planned it. Instant interior upgrade.

    🔥 Unique Burning

The flame on top of the pyramid looks like a beacon. The light refracts on the edges and creates interesting shadows. In the evening, it looks like a small theater.

    Our Pyramid Collection

📐 Classic Pyramids (base = height)

Mini: 10x10 cm – for a desk, next to a PC
Medium: 20x20 cm – for a living room, on a chest of drawers
Large: 30x30 cm – a dominant feature of the space
Giant: 50x50 cm – almost a work of art

📏 Slender Pyramids (taller than wide)

For those who want a more dramatic look. They look like obelisks. Great for modern interiors.

    🎨 Special Editions

    • Two-tone: Dark bottom, light top – looks 3D
    • Galaxy: Black with glitter – like a piece of the universe
    • Gradient: Smooth transition of colors from bottom to top

Who Buys Pyramids? (You Might Be Surprised)

IT Companies: For meeting rooms – they say it helps with brainstorming
Math Teachers: As a teaching aid that then lights up in the evening
Feng Shui Consultants: They say that the pyramid "cleanses the energy of the space"
Photographers: They love how the pyramid looks in photos
Ordinary People: Because it's cool and no one else has it at home

How to Choose the Right Pyramid?

For the office: Black or dark blue, unscented – for concentration
For the bedroom: Beige or white with lavender – for relaxation
For the living room: According to the interior, ideally 3 different sizes
For a party: Metallic (gold/silver) – wow effect
As a gift: Medium size in a neutral color + nice packaging

Practical Info (to Make It Work)

    1. Always on a plate – even if we say it doesn't drip, better safe than sorry
    2. First lighting = important – let it burn for at least an hour
    3. Short wick – max 7 mm, otherwise it will smoke
    4. Stable base – a pyramid on a tilted table = disaster
    5. Beware of cats – they love to knock pyramids off shelves (verified)

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is it true that a pyramid concentrates energy?
Scientifically? No. But a lot of people feel that way. Maybe it's just psychology, maybe not. Try it.

Why is a pyramid more expensive than a cylinder of the same size?
More complex manufacturing. We have to pour it in layers and monitor the angles. One wrong step = crooked pyramid = in the trash.

Can I have a pyramid with my own relief?
On the back, yes. On the edges, no – technically impossible. Logo, monogram, date – everything is possible.

Which color is the most popular?
Black (30%), white (25%), natural wax (20%), the rest are crazy colors.

Does a pyramid fit in a church?
Surprisingly, yes! We have parishes that use white pyramids during vigils. They say it symbolizes the path to heaven.

🔺 Fun Fact: The largest candle in the shape of a pyramid measured 8 meters and stood in Las Vegas. It burned for 2 months. We don't make them that big, but a 50 cm pyramid is also quite impressive.

  • Triangle Candles

Geometric Candles – Triangle Shapes Hand-Poured in Bohemia

A geometric candle in triangle form is the most stable shape you can put on a table. Three sides, three vertices, wide base, low centre of gravity – it stays where you place it. We have been pouring geometric candles by hand in Královské Poříčí for over 20 years, and the triangle remains one of our most-requested shapes.

The triangle is not a trend. Architects use it for bridges, builders use it for roofs, and we use it for candles because it works. When customers search for a geometric candle that actually stands on its own, they end up here.

Why the triangle works as a geometric candle

A square candle expands at the corners as it burns. A round candle rolls if the wax pools unevenly. A triangle keeps its outline until the last hour of burning. That is the practical reason for the shape – the rest is aesthetics.

The triangular silhouette throws sharper shadows on the wall than a cylinder, which is why interior designers order them for showrooms and photographers borrow them for product shoots. A row of three triangles of different heights on a shelf does more work than ten generic tea lights.

A true story (a little more esoteric)

Last year, a therapist came to us. "I need triangle candles for couple's therapy," she said. We looked at her, a little puzzled. She explained: "The triangle symbolizes a relationship – two people and their shared journey. When couples see a burning triangle, it reminds them that they are not just two, but three entities – him, her, and the relationship."

We made 20 for her. Half a year later, she ordered another 50. "It works," she wrote. "Couples buy them for their homes and light them when they need to be reminded of what it's all about."

Since then, we know – a triangle is not just geometry. It's a symbol.

Why people order geometric triangle candles

    1. Symbol of the number three

Past – present – future. Body – mind – soul. Father – mother – child. The number three runs through religion, fairy tales and family structure. A triangular candle puts that symbol on the table without saying a word.

    2. Original design

How many triangular candles have you seen in someone's living room? Exactly. Put one on the table and the first question is always the same: where did you get that.

    3. Genuine stability

It will not tip over if a child runs past or a cat brushes the table leg. Wide base, low centre of gravity. That is geometry, not marketing.

    4. The shadows

A burning triangular candle casts sharp triangular shadows on the wall. It looks like a small light installation – which is why these candles photograph well.

    Our triangle selection

    Equilateral triangles

Mini (7 cm side): shelf piece, fits between books
Medium (15 cm): the classic dining-table size
Large (25 cm): statement piece for the living room
Giant (40 cm): made to order, weighs around 3 kilograms

    Tall triangles

Taller than they are wide – a more dramatic silhouette, similar to a small mountain peak.

    Special editions

    • 3D effect: each side a different colour
    • Striped: horizontal stripes, retro feel
    • Galaxy: black wax with glitter
    • Ombre: gradient from dark to light
    • Set of three sizes: small, medium, large – stacked like Russian dolls

Who buys geometric candles from us

Couples: "It's about the two of us and our life together."
Mathematicians and engineers: "Finally a candle that makes geometric sense."
Designers: brutalist shape, minimalist aesthetic, fits a concrete interior.
Esoteric customers: "The triangle concentrates energy." Maybe yes, maybe no – we just pour the wax.
Parents of three children: "Each vertex is one child."
Companies: triangular logo? We make a corporate edition with branding on one side.

    Materials

We pour our geometric candles from paraffin wax, beeswax or soy wax, depending on the edition. The wick is cotton, placed at the centre of gravity so the candle burns down evenly through the body of the triangle. Scents are added from natural essential oils.

    Practical uses

Family rituals: light it when all three are home.
Meetings: a triangle on the table = three agenda items, one for each vertex.
Meditation: focus on one vertex, then the next, then the third.
    Anniversaries divisible by three: 30, 33, 60, 63.
Decoration: three triangles of different sizes, lined up – an instant arrangement.

How to burn a triangular candle properly

    1. Flat surface first. A triangle on a slanted table is asking for trouble.
    2. First burn long enough for the whole top layer to melt. This prevents tunnelling.
    3. Trim the wick to 5–7 mm. Any longer and it smokes.
    4. Plate underneath. The candle is stable, but wax is wax.
    5. Rotate 120° after each use. The triangle burns down evenly that way.

    Custom geometric candles

Basic sizes are kept in stock. For special requests – different colour, scent, engraved text on one side, corporate edition with a logo – we usually deliver within a week. Text on the edges is not technically possible; on one flat side it is.

Want a triangle? Call 723 913 541 or write to info@svitsol.cz. Hand-poured in Královské Poříčí, shipped from the workshop.

  • Sphere Candles –...

⚪ Ball candles – when you want the perfect shape without compromise

Do you know what is the hardest thing to make? A perfect sphere. Every imperfection is visible, every bubble spoils the impression. A sphere is the most challenging shape to produce – and perhaps that's why it's so fascinating. When we succeed, it's like a small planet on your table. It shines equally in all directions and looks like it's levitating.

A story about a sphere that saved a party

Last year, a customer called in a panic. "In two hours, I have 20 people coming over, the power is out, and I don't have any candles!" We quickly delivered three large spheres to her – white, cream, and gold. She placed them in the middle of the table.

You know what happened? The guests thought the power outage was intentional. "This sphere lighting is genius," they praised. "It looks like a museum." To this day, she hosts "sphere dinners" – deliberately without electricity.

Since then, we know – a sphere is not just a backup light. It's a design statement.

Why are spheres so special? (And why are they so expensive)

    🌍 360° light

A cylinder shines to the sides, a cone upwards. A sphere? Equally everywhere. It's the only shape that illuminates an entire room evenly. Physics, my friend.

    🎯 Most difficult production

Try to make a perfect sphere out of wax. You can't just pour it into a mold like a cylinder. We have to rotate it, grind it, polish it. One sphere = 3x more work than a cylinder. That's why the price.

    🧘 Zen factor

A sphere has no edges = your brain doesn't have to "decide" where to look. That's why a sphere is calming. Seriously, it's scientifically proven.

    ✨ Instagram magnet

Put a sphere on the table, take a picture, 200 likes guaranteed. A sphere is simply photogenic.

Our sphere selection (from ping-pong to bowling)

    🏓 Mini sphere (⌀ 5-6 cm)

Like a tennis ball. Burns for 8-10 hours. Best in a group of 3-5 pieces. Often bought for weddings – one for each table.

    🎾 Medium sphere (⌀ 8-10 cm)

A classic. Burns for 20-30 hours. One is enough for a whole weekend of romance. Our best-selling size.

    ⚽ Large spheres (⌀ 12-15 cm)

Like a soccer ball. Burns for 50+ hours. Weighs over a kilo. When you put it on the table, everyone falls silent.

    🏀 Mega sphere (⌀ 20+ cm)

Made to order. Weighs 3-5 kilos. Burns for a week straight. We have one in the window – people take pictures.

    Who buys spheres and why?

Feng shui enthusiasts: "The sphere harmonizes the energy of the space" (okay, we believe you)
Minimalists: "One perfect object > ten pieces of junk"
Photographers: "That light! That reflection! That symmetry!"
Restaurants: "It looks more expensive than it is"
Mathematicians: "Finally, a candle with the smallest surface area in relation to volume"
    Ordinary mortals: "It's just pretty"

Practical tips (to keep the sphere a sphere)

    1. A plate is a must – the sphere can roll (no way!)
    2. The first burn = crucial – at least 2 hours, so that a "pool" is formed
    3. Rotate it – after each use by 90°, it burns more evenly
    4. Short wick – long wick = oval instead of sphere
    5. No drafts – sphere + wind = wax everywhere

    Special editions (for the daring)

    • Marble sphere: White with veins – looks like it's from Carrara
    • Rainbow: 7 colored layers, changes color when burning
    • Galaxy: Black with glitter – like a piece of the universe
    • Earth: Blue-green – an exact copy of our planet (a hit on Earth Day)
    • Disco: With glitter inside – when it burns, the glitter dances

    Frequently asked questions

Why is the sphere more expensive than a cylinder of the same weight?
Production takes 3x longer. Plus, half of the spheres don't turn out perfectly = we throw them away. You're paying for the one that succeeded.

    Doesn't it roll?
It has a flat base (secret trick). But yes, it will roll on a slanted surface. Newton wins.

Can I have a sphere with a photo?
Technically no. The photo would be distorted. But we can make a hemisphere with a photo – a compromise.

    What color is best?
White (40%), black (20%), gold (15%), red (10%), the rest are crazy colors.

Does the sphere burn differently than a cylinder?
Yes – the flame is larger and "dances" more. It looks more lively. Wax consumption is similar.

🌍 Fun fact: The Earth is not a perfect sphere – it is slightly flattened. Our spheres are rounder than the planet you live on. So what, NASA?

  • Prism Candles –...

🟦 Prism Candles – When You Want Strength and Tradition in One

The prism is a shape for people who don't want to compromise. No rounded corners, no "maybe." Four sides, a sharp edge, a solid base. And also a story that will give you goosebumps – we have a prism mold that is older than your great-grandmother.

    A 130-Year-Old Mold (This Isn't a Joke)

In 1894, a candlemaker in Bohemia had a brass prism mold with rays made. He believed that the rays "caught the light and dispelled the darkness in the house." The mold survived two world wars, communism, and the revolution. Now it's with us.

When we pour the wax into it, it's a ritual. The mold is heavy, we have to preheat it, and pour the wax slowly. Each prism from it is slightly different – sometimes the ray is deeper, sometimes shallower. It's like a fingerprint from the 19th century.

Customers who buy such a prism often write: "When I light it, I feel like it shines just as it did 130 years ago." And you know what? They're right.

Why a Prism? (The Answer Will Surprise You)

📐 Physics is on Our Side

The prism has the most stable center of gravity of all shapes. You can kick the table, the cat won't knock it over, it will stay standing during an earthquake. (We don't test earthquakes, but we believe it.)

    💡 Light Show for Free

When the flame dances, the edges cast sharp shadows that move across the walls. It's like having a small theater at home. A cylinder can't do that.

    🏛️ Architectural Element

Place the prism on a shelf – it looks like a sculpture. Light it – it looks like a lighthouse. In both cases, it looks expensive (even though it isn't).

    🕰️ Nostalgia That Works

Prisms were made when there was no electricity yet. People used them because they lasted and burned for a long time. Today, we use them for the same reason + they look cool.

    What Do We Offer?

    📦 Modern Smooth Prisms

Square 7x7 cm: Basic model, burns for 30 hours
Rectangle 10x5 cm: Elegant, suitable for narrower shelves
Mega Prism 15x15 cm: Weighs 2 kg, burns for a week

☀️ Historical Prisms with Rays (Limited Edition!)

From that 130-year-old mold. We make a maximum of 10 pieces per month – the mold is fragile, we don't want to destroy it. Each one has a certificate with a serial number. We currently have 3 pieces in stock.

    🎨 Special Editions

    • Brutalist Prism: Rough surface, looks like concrete (hipsters love it)
    • Gradient: Transition from black to white – modern art
    • Cube 10x10x10: Perfect cube, Rubik's cube made of wax
    • Double Prism: Two connected prisms of different heights

    Who Buys Prisms? (Surprising Statistics)

35% Architects and Designers: "It's pure geometry"
25% Collectors: Mainly the historical ones with rays
20% Restaurants: On the tables, it looks minimalist
15% Esotericists: They say the prism "grounds energy"
5% Mathematicians: Because... they are mathematicians

How to Care for a Prism?

    1. Flat surface – a prism on a tilted table = bad idea
    2. First burn 2-3 hours – a uniform "pool" must be created
    3. Rotate after use – rotate 90°, it burns more evenly
    4. Wick 5-7 mm – longer = it smokes and drips along the edges
    5. Handle historical pieces carefully – they are more fragile, the wax is different from modern ones

    Customer Stories

"I bought a historical prism with rays for my grandfather (92 years old). He cried. He said they had such a candle at home when he was little." – Pavel, 45

"I have a collection of 20 prisms of different sizes. When I light them all, the apartment looks like a temple." – Tereza, 31

"That brutalist prism is the best thing in my minimalist apartment. Everyone asks where I got it." – Matěj, 28

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is that mold really 130 years old?
Yes. We have documents from the restorer who dated it. It is from 1894, manufacturer J. Novák, Pilsen.

Can I order a historical prism in advance?
Yes, but you'll have to wait. We make 10 pieces a month, the waiting time is 2-3 months.

Why is the prism more expensive than a cylinder?
More complex production, we have to monitor all four sides. Plus, the historical ones are basically art.

Does the prism burn differently than a cylinder?
A little faster (larger surface), but more stably. The flame is calmer.

Can you make a prism with my logo?
On one side, yes. We make corporate prisms from 50 pieces.

🏛️ Final fact: The largest prism candle in the world weighed 500 kg and stood in the cathedral in Cologne. It burned for 3 months. We don't make that big, but a 15x15 cm prism is also impressive.

    📞 Want a prism? Call 723 913 541 or info@svitsol.cz
Modern ones in stock, historical ones on order. And hurry up – that 130-year-old mold won't last forever.

  • Mandala Candles with Base

🌸 Mandala candles with a base – a circle that holds together

A mandala is more than just a pretty pattern. It is a circle without beginning or end, a symbol that everything is connected. Our mandala candles with a base are like small altars – a stable base at the bottom, a perfect circle at the top. When lit, they create a special effect of central burning. The flame gradually burns the wax from top to bottom, creating a "U" shape in the middle. It looks like a mysterious temple of light is opening inside.

    The story that inspired us

Last year, a yoga teacher came to us. "I need a mandala that will burn for 12 hours," she said. That's a sacred number in yoga. We made her a 25 cm diameter mandala with a double wick.

A month later, she wrote: "It burned for exactly 12 hours and 17 minutes. Those extra 17 minutes were a bonus." She sent a photo – the mandala had burned into a beautiful U shape. It looked like a small portal filled with light.

Since then, we've been making "12-hour mandalas." People use them for retreats, meditation, or when they need to end something and start over.

Why a mandala with a base? (It's not just design)

🎯 Stability, both physical and mental

The base = the candle won't fall over. But it's also a symbol – you have a solid foundation (the base) and infinite possibilities (the circle). Deep? Maybe. Does it work? Definitely.

    🌀 The "U-shape" effect

As the mandala burns, the wax creates a deep U shape inside. The light then shines through the walls, casting soft shadows into the space. Some people find it hypnotic (in a good way).

    🏛️ It looks like art

Place the mandala on a table – even unlit, it looks like a sculpture. When lit, it looks like a living sculpture. Win-win.

    🧘 A meditation tool

Fixing your gaze on the center of the burning mandala is an ancient meditation technique. It calms the mind. Or it will put you to sleep. Both are good.

    Who buys mandalas and why?

Yogis and meditators: "It helps me focus"
Therapists: "I use it in sessions with clients"
Couples: "We have a shared mandala, we light it on our anniversary"
    Designers: "It's a functional decoration"
People in crisis: "When I don't know what to do, I light a mandala and just watch"
Instagrammers: "That light show! Those photos!"

How to use a mandala correctly?

    1. Place on a flat surface – the base is stable, but it doesn't do miracles
    2. First burn for at least 2 hours – the first deep center must be created
    3. Watch how it burns – each mandala burns differently, it's a living thing
    4. Wick at 5 mm – shorter = better burning
    5. Enjoy it – a mandala is not just a candle, it's an experience

    Personalization (people love this)

For an extra, we will cut into the mandala:

    • Initials (M + T)
    • Date (14.2.2025)
    • Short word (LOVE, PEACE, OM)
    • Number (30, 108, 2025)
    • Small symbol (heart, star, moon)

The text will appear when the mandala burns. It's like magic – the message will appear in the light.

    Frequently asked questions

What if the mandala burns unevenly?
That's normal! Each one burns a little differently. The unevenness creates a unique pattern. It's a feature, not a bug.

Can I have a mandala without a base?
We also have those – the "Mandala circle" category. But with a base, it's more stable and looks more elegant.

What is the difference between a mandala and a circle?
A mandala has a symbolic meaning and often a relief pattern. A circle is just... a circle. We have both shapes.

Does a mandala burn differently than a normal candle?
Yes – it burns from the center downwards, creating a U-shape effect. It's slower, more meditative. It's not a candle for quick light, but for atmosphere.

How much does the 108-hour one cost?
. Yes, that number is not a coincidence. Esotericists will appreciate it.

🕉️ Mystical fact: In Tibetan Buddhism, monks create sand mandalas, which they then destroy – a symbol of impermanence. Our wax mandalas do the same – they burn, they change, they disappear. But the light remains in the memories.

  • Relief Candles

Relief Candles – When a Candle Has a Face and Soul

Imagine taking an ordinary cylinder and carving a face into it. Or a tree. Or an abstract pattern. Relief candles are exactly this – candles we have hand-finished until they become something between a candle and a sculpture. Each is different, because the human hand never makes the same thing twice.

What Do We Make in Relief?

    Faces and Characters

Forest Guardian: Our bestseller, bearded character
Bacchus: God of wine and merriment
    Forest Fairy: Delicate female face
    Santa: For Christmas, of course
Custom face: Send a photo, we will try

    Nature Motifs

Trees: Oak, linden, spruce – carved into wax
    Leaves: Maple, oak
    Animals: Owl, wolf, deer
    Mountains: For mountain lovers

    Symbols and Abstractions

    Celtic knots: Interlaced patterns
    Mandalas: Carved, not cast
Runes: For the Viking at heart
    Custom logo: Corporate or personal

    How Do Colours Work?

The base is always brown (like a tree trunk). But the "coat" can be colourful:

    • Blue-pink: For romantics
    • Red-orange: Fiery, energetic
    • Purple-beige: Mystical, mysterious
    • Green-gold: Forest, natural
    • Custom combination: Tell us, we will mix

Two-colour combination is at no extra charge. Three or more colours = artwork = surcharge.

    Scents (for 120 CZK extra)

    Forest: Fir, moss
    Fruity: Apple, pear, forest berries
    Fresh: Mint, eucalyptus, lemon
    Unscented: For purists

    Production Process

    1. We cast the basic shape
    2. Let it partially set – must be soft but not liquid
    3. Hand-carve – with knives, chisels, sometimes even a spoon
    4. Add details – beard, wrinkles, leaves
    5. Colour – layer by layer
    6. Final touches – polishing, scent, wick

One candle = 2-3 hours of work. Hence the price.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order a custom motif?
We will try anything. Send a design, we will say if it is possible. 50% success rate.

Why is a relief more expensive than a regular candle?
2-3 hours of handwork vs. 5 minutes of pouring into a mould.

    Does a relief burn differently?
Slightly. Relief parts burn more slowly, creating interesting shapes. It is a show.

    How much does it cost?
Basic relief from 450 CZK. Complex motifs up to 1500 CZK. Custom design = individual price.

  • Christmas Candles –...

🎄 Christmas Candles – because electric lights aren't enough

Do you remember how Christmas smelled at your grandmother's house? Pine needles, cinnamon, honey, and wax. Christmas candles are all about bringing that authentic light and fragrance back to Christmas. No flashing LED strings from China. We handcraft them at our farm in Královské Poříčí, and each one is slightly different – because Christmas is never the same.

A story that touched us (and made us laugh a little)

Last December, a woman from Prague called: "I need 50 little angels for the kindergarten. Each child should have one." We made them – each with a slightly different face, a different smile.

After Christmas, she wrote: "The children named the angels. We have Pepík, Anička, even Darth Vader (he didn't turn out quite right). Some of the children didn't want to light the angels because 'they would feel sorry for them.' Now they have them on their shelves at home."

Since then, we've been making angels with "character." Some are smiling, others look serious. People choose them according to their mood.

What do we make for Christmas?

    👼 Angels (bestseller #1)

From 5 cm babies to 20 cm guardians. White, gold, silver. Some children draw eyes on them with felt-tip pens (we don't recommend it, but we understand).

    🎄 Christmas Trees

Mini (10 cm): For the plate with Christmas cookies
Medium (15 cm): A classic for the table
With gold/silver glitter: Sparkles like the real thing

    ⛄ Snowmen

The only snowmen that will survive until April. We make them with a hat, a scarf (carved), a carrot (orange wax). Cuteness level 100.

    🌲 Pine Cones

They look like real ones, they smell like the forest. Grandmothers love them – "like a walk in the forest."

    ⭐ Stars and Spirals

For those who want something more modern. Spirals create hypnotic shadows when burning.

    🚀 Astronauts (yes, really)

It started as a joke. Now we have orders for "space Christmas." An astronaut under the tree = a conversation starter.

    🔔 "Zvonkovka" (historical form)

A cylinder with bells and ornaments. The mold is from 1952. When we use it, it's like a time machine.

The scents we make (and why)

Pine: A classic. Smells like the forest. It's our best seller.
Cinnamon: Warm, sweet. Perfect with mulled wine.
Honey: Delicate, subtle. For those with allergies to everything.
Citrus + pine: A fresh combination. Modern Christmas.
Vanilla: For lovers of Christmas cookies.
Unscented: When you just want the light.

How to create a Christmas atmosphere (proven tips)

    🕯️ Advent wreath, our way

4 cylinders of different heights. Each Sunday, you light one more. The heights symbolize the approaching Christmas.

    🏠 Wax Nativity Scene

Angel + Christmas tree + star = instant nativity scene. Children love it because they can play with it.

    🪟 Window full of light

5-7 candles of different shapes on the windowsill. In the evening, it looks magical from the outside and inside.

    🎁 Candle as a gift

Wrap it in kraft paper, add a sprig of pine. It looks 10 times more expensive than it is.

    Who buys Christmas candles?

Mothers: "For the atmosphere" (and 5 minutes of peace from the children)
Grandmothers: "It reminds me of my childhood"
    Minimalists: "Better than kitschy decorations"
Teachers: "For the classroom, it calms the children"
Single people: "At least something Christmasy"
Companies: "A gift for clients that isn't wine"

    Custom options

    • Corporate Christmas candles: Logo + Christmas motif
    • Family sets: The name of each family member on the candle
    • Alternative colors: Black Christmas? Pink? Rainbow? Why not.
    • Mega sizes: 50 cm Christmas tree? We can do it.
    • Special shapes: We've already made Yoda, the Grinch, and Maria Theresa

    Frequently asked questions

When should I order so that it arrives before Christmas?
By December 15th, you're good. After December 20th, there's an express surcharge or personal pickup.

Will the candles last until next Christmas?
Yes, but why would you want them to? Light them this year, and we'll make new ones next year.

Can I have a gold angel with pink wings?
You can even have a rainbow unicorn if you want. Christmas is only once a year.

Which candles do children like the most?
Astronauts and snowmen. Angels are more often bought by parents "for the children."

Can you make a Christmas candle with a photo?
Technically yes, but it looks strange. We recommend classic motifs.

🎅 Christmas wisdom: Electricity failed for the first time on Christmas in 1882 (when Edison lit the first Christmas light bulbs). Before that, only candles were lit. And you know what? People enjoyed Christmas more then. Maybe it's time to turn off the flashing lights and light a candle.
