Yellow Candles
You choose a candle for the flame, but it spends most of its time unlit — which makes the colour a bigger decision than it looks. Here that colour is yellow: every candle on this page carries it as one of its base colours, and in many of them it shares the surface with a second shade — salmon on the Large Tall Cone Candle Yellow-Salmon, red on the Sphere Candle Relief Waves Red-Yellow, blue on the Round Photo Candle COUPLE Blue-Yellow.
The shapes pull in different directions: pinecones and pyramids, prisms and spheres, chakra pillars, zodiac circles, boat candles carrying a single letter, and round candles that take a personalized photo. All of them are handmade, and all of them come from Královské Poříčí. What they share ends about there — how long each is rated to burn varies so much between shapes that a tape measure alone will mislead you.
Colour settles nothing about the scent, either: Vanilla, Orange and Wild strawberry are here alongside Lavender, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Mint, Jasmine, Christmas punch, Gin & tonic and Cucumber freshness. Choosing by numbers: height, weight and rated hours
Small Cone Candle 2 and Prism Candle Sunray 4 stand exactly level: 14 cm tall, 6.5 cm across. The scales split them — 0.13 Kg against 0.46 Kg — and the rated hours sit far apart too: 19-31 hours for the cone, 45-75 hours for the prism. Both are the paraffin wax blend; the outline simply tells you less than the numbers that come with it. Put weight and rated hours next to the height before the height decides for you.
Weight is no safe shortcut either. Small Pinecone Candle – Yellow, Citronella, Handmade weighs 0.06 Kg and is rated 18-24 hours; CANDLE MOON DOVE weighs 0.17 Kg and is rated 2-13 hours. The rating belongs to each candle on its own, so read it on the one you actually mean to take home.

The broader the top, the more the first lighting matters. On the round candles measured 14 cm across, and on the cone that spans 10 cm, let the first flame keep going until no firm wax is left standing at the rim — cut it short and the candle settles into a tunnel down its own middle. The 1.15 Kg cone deserves a base that sits level and will not burn. And none of these burns unwatched: someone stays in the room, and it stands where neither children nor animals can reach it.
