Cylindrical Candles with a 2 cm Diameter — Slim Pillars, Poured by Hand
The slimmest cylindrical candles we make measure exactly 2 cm in diameter — and because a true cylinder never tapers, every candle holds that same 2 cm width from the top edge to the base. If you need a matching set where all candles have the same diameter, this is the format built for it. We pour them by hand in Královské Poříčí, where we have been making candles for more than 20 years, alongside every larger size up to 25 cm across and custom giants up to 180 cm tall.
The 2 cm Line — One Diameter, Top to Bottom
Our 2 cm cylinders are the thinnest pillar format we produce, made in heights from 10 to 30 cm. They fit standard taper candleholders, advent wreaths, and tight table arrangements — anywhere a classic taper would go, but with straight sides and steady, even burning. Burn time is roughly 6–12 hours depending on height; a 2×20 cm cylinder lasts about 1–1.5 hours of continuous use. Available in white, cream, red, black, and natural beeswax. Because we pour to order, a whole batch comes out identical — same diameter, same height, same colour.
The Full Diameter Range — Up to 25 cm
Slim Cylinders (diameter 2–4 cm, height 10–30 cm)
The 2 cm format described above, plus its slightly wider siblings up to 4 cm. Dinner table accents, advent wreath fillers, replacements for tapers in narrow holders.
Small Pillars (diameter 5–10 cm, height 7.5–20 cm)
For the dinner table, bathroom, bedside table. Burns 20–40 hours. Stands on its own, no candleholder needed.
Medium Pillars (diameter 10–15 cm, height 20–50 cm)
Classic for the living room. Lasts a week of daily use. Most popular with homemakers and restaurants.
Large Pillars (diameter 15–25 cm, height 50–100 cm)
Statement piece. Burns easily 200+ hours. We have them in hotel lobbies and churches.
Giants (height 100–180 cm)
This is not a candle, it is a sculpture — the largest reach 180 cm and weigh more than a child. Custom-made for weddings, exhibitions, film productions.

Materials We Use
Every cylindrical candle is poured by hand in our workshop in Královské Poříčí, where we have been making candles for more than 20 years. We work with three waxes:
- Paraffin — longest burn time, sharpest colour, lowest price
- Beeswax — natural honey scent, golden tone, slow burn
- Soy wax — clean burn, soft appearance, holds fragrance well
Cotton wicks throughout. Custom diameters, heights, and colours produced to order within one week — including full sets of cylindrical candles with a uniform 2 cm diameter.

Practical Notes for Cylindrical Candles
Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each lighting. Burn on a heat-resistant plate. Keep away from draughts — a flickering flame eats wax unevenly and shortens burn time. For 2 cm diameter cylinders, expect 1–2 hours of burning per centimetre of height. For thicker pillars from 7 cm upwards, the first burn should last long enough for the melt pool to reach the outer edge, otherwise the candle tunnels.

Does the wax drip on the table?
With no draught and a properly trimmed wick, the wax stays inside the candle. We still recommend a plate underneath.

Paraffin or soy pillar — which to choose?
Paraffin burns longer and costs less. Soy burns cleaner and holds fragrance better. Beeswax sits between them with its natural honey scent.
