Orange Scented Candles
The kitchen still smells of last night’s dinner, or a hallway has had wet coats hanging in it since morning — orange is what most people reach for then. It runs through every candle on this page, and on plenty of them it has company: Citronella, Vanilla, Wild strawberry, Choco-coffee-cinnamon, Dream, Euphoria. So read the pairing first and the shape second. One pinecone here is orange on its own, another is orange & citronella.
The outlines go their own way: small and large pinecones, cones, prisms, pyramids, a right triangle, a moon dove, a plain small pillar, handmade relief candles named LESUPAN and LOVE, and a mandala that comes on its own stand. The wax underneath does not change from one to the next — paraffin wax blend throughout — so what you are really choosing between is height, width, hours, and which scent sits next to the orange.

Picking by the hours, not by the outline
Start with how long you want the flame, then find the shape that suits the spot. Small Pillar Candle 7cm SVITSOL | Orange Scent stands 7 cm on a 3.5 cm width, weighs 0.07 Kg and is rated 9-12 hours — a dinner, or two shortish evenings on a bathroom shelf. Two candles of the very same 21 cm part company completely: the Pyramid Candle Tetrahedron ones are rated 25-30 hours, the Right Triangle Candle ones 7-15 hours.
At 14 cm it happens again: Small Cone Candle weighs 0.13 Kg for 19-31 hours, Prism Candle Sunray 0.46 Kg for 45-75 hours. For a table where the candle counts as part of the setting, Relief Candle LESUPAN Brown-Orange gives 16 cm on a 9x5 cm footprint, 0.35 Kg, 29-39 hours. At the far end stand the two big ones: Large Tall Cone Candle Yellow-Salmon, 38 cm tall and 10 cm across, 1.15 Kg, rated 90-200 hours — nothing else on this page runs anywhere near that long — and Relief Candle LOVE Yellow-Orange, taller at 40 cm but only 6 cm across, 1 Kg, 45-96 hours.
There is one here that wants planning before you light it. Mandala Candle Omega Or with Stand measures 14 cm across and is rated 18-24 hours; a face that wide needs a long opening burn, kept going until melted wax covers the whole top. End it early and it will burrow rather than burn wide. After that it is upkeep. Give the wick a trim each time before you light it, put something flat and fireproof underneath, keep it clear of the draught from an open window, snuff it before you leave the room, and stand it where a cat or a small child cannot get at it.
