Pink Candles
Pink is rarely the only colour in a room, and a candle in that shade usually has to sit next to something already chosen — a cushion, a print, a folded throw. Every candle on this page carries pink as one of its base colours, and several carry a second one alongside it: Relief Candle MARIE Pink-Black, Candle HEARTS circle pink-orange, and the two Round Photo Candles in Green-Pink. Read the whole name and you know what you are getting.
Shapes here run from hearts and circles to slim pillars, reliefs, cubes, pyramids, figures and a full set. That matters more than the colour when you are deciding where it stands. A heart on a low table is looked down at; a relief on a chest of drawers is looked at from across the room.
Scent narrows things further. Sakura is cherry blossom and sits on the small pillar and on Relief Candle ROSE Pink. Vanilla runs through most of the figures, paired with Christmas punch — cinnamon, clove, orange and red wine. Citronella is the citrus one, on a tall slim pillar. Which pink candle suits which spot, and how long each one burns
Start with the evening you have in mind, not the height. Small Pillar Candle Sakura and Small Pillar Candle Vanilla-Orange both stand 7 cm on a 3.5 cm diameter, weigh 0.07 Kg and are rated 9-12 hours — one dinner, maybe two. Keep the same 3.5 cm width and go up to 12 cm and you are at 0.13 Kg and 18-24 hours, which is where Pillar Candle 12 cm Citronella and Tall Slim Pillar Candle Vanilla-Strawberry sit. Slim enough to stand among glasses without blocking anybody’s view.
Relief Candle MARIE Pink and Relief Candle MARIE Pink-Black are the ones for a mantel or a sideboard: 16 cm on a 4 cm diameter, 0.27 Kg, rated 28-39 hours. Relief Candle ROSE Pink is shorter at 9 cm but spreads to 3.5 bottom + 7 middle cm, weighs 0.15 Kg and runs 12-21 hours.
Width changes the maths more than people expect. Cube Pearls Candle Glitter Icy Magenta is 6 cm tall and 6 cm across, weighs 0.153 Kg and is rated 14-25 hours. Pyramid Pearls Candle Glitter Icy Magenta is taller at 8 cm and broader at 9 cm, weighs 0.178 Kg — yet its rating is 8-13 hours.

Whichever goes home, trim the wick before you strike the match. On the first evening, leave it burning until the melted wax reaches right out to the edge — cut that first burn short and the flame keeps digging a well down the middle ever after. Level surface that will not catch fire, no draught crossing it, and put a small heart or figure out of reach of a child or a cat rather than on a low shelf. Never walk out and leave a lit one behind you.
