Tree OLD Scented Candle 100 g – Lavender & Vanilla from Královské Poříčí

This Christmas candle in the shape of a little tree is 6 cm in diameter and 12 cm tall, weighs 0.1 kg and has a burn time of 19–29 hours. It is cast from a premium paraffin wax blend and has a cotton wick. Fragrance: lavender and vanilla. Colour: icy white – lilac – glitter. We make it by hand in our workshop in Královské Poříčí near Sokolov.

The lavender here is dry and herbal, just as you know it from the fields of Provence – so the candle will also appeal to anyone who likes Provence-style scented candles. Vanilla softens and rounds it off, so the fragrance does not overpower the room; it is simply there. If you are looking for a scented Christmas candle but do not want sweet gingerbread and cinnamon, this combination is exactly right.

What it looks like and where it fits

The glitter on the surface is not glued on but part of the casting – when the candle is lit, it sparkles in the glow of the flame. The tree shape holds even after several evenings of burning, because the wax melts towards the centre. White with lilac suits a laid table, a windowsill or a chest of drawers next to fir branches – traditional decorations as well as a bright, modern flat.

Place it on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from draughts and curtains. The first time, let it burn for two to three hours in one go so that the wax melts evenly across the whole surface – the candle will then not tunnel down the middle, and you will use all of the wax. Trim the wick before each further lighting.
