Sunray Prism Candle — handmade in Královské Poříčí

This prism is 14 cm tall, 6.5 cm in diameter and weighs 0.46 kg; it is made of a premium paraffin wax blend with a cotton wick and burns for 45–75 hours. Fragrance: lavender and vanilla. The ray relief runs around the whole circumference of the prism. We pour the candle by hand in Královské Poříčí, and every piece is checked before dispatch.

What is it made of?

It is made of a premium paraffin wax blend that keeps its shape even in the larger prism format and does not distort the relief at normal room temperature. The wick is cotton — it burns calmly, without spitting. In the workshop, depending on the product, we work with paraffin, beeswax and soy wax; for the Sunray candle it is a paraffin blend, because at this size the firmness of the shape is what matters.

How long does it burn?

45–75 hours. The range is wide because the burn time depends on how the candle is used — shorter burns in a draught use up the wax faster than calm burning in a stable spot. The wax melts evenly towards the centre, so the candle keeps its shape the whole time and does not leak down the sides.

What does it smell like?

Lavender and vanilla. Both are gentle — they do not disturb you while eating or reading. If you do not want an overpowering fragrance in the room, this is exactly why you would choose the Sunray candle.

Our own design you cannot buy elsewhere

The ray relief was created in our workshop and we use it exclusively for our own production. The geometric shape of the prism holds its line even unlit — it works as a stand-alone decoration. Once lit, the flame casts soft shadows into the relief and the light spreads into the room instead of going only upwards.

Where the Sunray candle belongs

It suits the living room, bedroom or bathroom, and it also stands out on its own on a festive table. It complements a minimalist interior just as well as classic furnishings with wood and textiles.

Who makes it?

SVITSOL is a family business. The brand was founded in 2004, and today we have over twenty years of handmade production behind us. The workshop stands on the farm in Královské Poříčí in the Karlovy Vary Region. Every piece passes through human hands — from pouring and cooling to the final check.

How to care for the candle

Trim the wick to 5–7 mm before each lighting. Let the candle burn for no more than 2–3 hours at a time, so that the wax melts evenly to the edges and no “tunnel” forms in the middle. Place it on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from draughts and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
