Decorative Soap Flower ASTRA – Handmade Glycerin Soap from Královské Poříčí

Diameter 6 cm, weight 0.096 kg, natural base with a high content of plant-based glycerin, strawberry-apple fragrance, clear-red-green colour combination. The ASTRA soap is made by hand in the SVITSOL workshop at the farm in Královské Poříčí in the Karlovy Vary Region. Each flower is cast individually, so no two pieces are exactly alike – small variations in colour intensity are not a flaw but a sign of handwork.

SVITSOL makes candles and glycerin soaps in Královské Poříčí. The same craftspeople who pour our candles from paraffin wax, beeswax and soy wax also pour the ASTRA soaps.

ASTRA as a Decoration

The ASTRA soap is not intended for washing – it serves as a decoration. Placed on the edge of the washbasin, on a bathroom shelf or in a bowl in the bedroom, it gently scents the room. Simply wipe off the dust with a dry cloth from time to time and keep it out of direct sunlight so the colours do not fade and the fragrance does not fade away.

Who ASTRA Makes a Gift For

ASTRA will please anyone who prefers a handmade little something to industrial packaging – a mum, a grandmother, a colleague or a friend, as a token for a birthday, name day or Christmas. Thanks to its compact size, you can also wrap it as an extra to a larger gift, for example a candle from our workshop.

If you are putting together a gift package, we recommend combining ASTRA with other glycerin soaps from our collection or with a candle collection. The hand-poured flower with its strawberry-apple fragrance also works on its own as a small gift.

Storage and Care

Store the soap in a dry place away from direct sunlight. The glycerin base is hygroscopic – it attracts moisture from the air, so in a very humid bathroom its surface may "sweat" a little over time. Simply wipe it with a dry cloth.

The SVITSOL brand was founded in 2004. We make candles from paraffin wax, beeswax and soy wax, as well as glycerin soaps. Our workshop is at the farm in Královské Poříčí in the Karlovy Vary Region – no big factory, no semi-automatic lines. Soaps and candles leave the hands of the same craftspeople, who have been working at SVITSOL for many years.
