GERBERA candle collection, 4 pieces – a decorative handmade set (SVITSOL)

This is a set of four candles made from a premium paraffin wax blend, with cotton wicks and the Dream fragrance. The individual pieces are 18-12-12 and 5.5 cm tall, with diameters of 3.5-4.5 and 5 cm; the whole pack weighs 0.6 kg. The burn time of the entire collection is 77–100 hours. We pour every piece by hand, so small variations in surface or shade are a sign of handwork, not a flaw.

What is it made of?

The base is a premium paraffin wax blend. The wick is cotton – we choose it according to the diameter of the candle, so that the wax burns evenly across the whole surface and no tunnel is left by the wall. The fragrance of the collection is Dream: subdued, not intrusive, suitable for the living room and bedroom, where it should only be noticeable in the background.

How long does it burn?

The whole set lasts 77–100 hours. The range comes from the fact that the pieces differ in height and diameter – the tallest pyramid lasts longest and the smallest candle the shortest. If you burn them evening after evening and trim the wick every time, you will reach the upper limit.

Arranging tip: place all four candles on one larger tray and leave space around them. The tallest pyramid at the back, the smallest piece at the front. A restrained arrangement looks better than a crowded surface.

Who makes the set

The SVITSOL brand was founded in 2004. Our workshop and gallery are on the farm in Královské Poříčí in the Karlovy Vary Region – that is where we pour, trim and assemble the candles by hand, piece by piece. Over more than twenty years we have tried out which shapes work in an interior and which only look good in a photo.

Care and safety

Trim the wick to 5–7 mm before each lighting. Burn the candle on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from draughts and out of reach of children and pets. We recommend no more than 1–2 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
