Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave it burning unattended. Before each lighting, trim the wick to about 5 mm and let the candle burn for at least two hours, but no more than 3 hours, then extinguish the candle and let the heated candle cool down so that the wax melts evenly.
