ASTRONAUT candle – icy blue glitter

Dimensions 7.5 × 4.5 cm, weight 56 g, burn time 7–10 hours, paraffin wax blend with a cotton wick. A hand-poured decorative candle in the shape of an astronaut with an icy blue surface in white–turquoise and a fine glittering finish. The fragrance combines vanilla with our Euphoria composition. Made on the SVITSOL farm in Královské Poříčí in the Karlovy Vary Region.

We pour the astronaut figure into a traditional mould, colour the wax in layers and apply the glitter only once it has set. Every piece is therefore a little different – the shade of blue may vary slightly, as may the distribution of glitter on the surface. That is not a flaw but the result of handwork.

Who it is for

The astronaut is a decoration that works even when unlit. Its compact size (it fits in the palm of your hand) makes it ideal for a desk, shelf, bedside table or a child’s room. The icy blue surface with a turquoise tint catches both lamplight and daylight, and when lit the candle gives a warm light that contrasts with the cool shade of the wax.

Vanilla forms a soft, sweet base. Euphoria is our composition with fruity and floral notes that adds a fresher line to the vanilla. When burning, the fragrance is noticeable but does not overpower the room – you can light the candle while eating or working at your desk.

How to use the candle

Place it on a non-flammable surface, away from draughts, curtains and direct sunlight. Trim the wick to 5–7 mm before each lighting – a short wick burns calmly and without smoke. We recommend letting the candle burn for 2–3 hours at a time so that the surface burns evenly right to the edge and the wax does not sink only in the middle. Never leave it burning unattended, especially around children and pets.
