The Small Pinecone candle is 9 cm tall, weighs 0.06 kg and measures 2.5 cm across at the base and 5 cm in the middle. It is cast from a premium paraffin wax blend, the wick is cotton and the burn time is 18–24 hours. It is scented with Euphoria. We make it by hand in our workshop in Královské Poříčí in the Karlovy Vary Region.

The detailed relief of the pinecone feels like a piece of forest brought indoors – it looks good even unlit, and once lit it creates a gentle play of light and shadow. The SVITSOL brand was founded in 2004, and for over 20 years we have been making candles in the traditional handcrafted way. Every piece passes through the hands of a candle maker who checks the quality of the wax, the anchoring of the wick and the sharpness of the relief.

Styling tip: place the pinecone on a wooden tray with dried fruit, bark and twigs. A group of three candles of different sizes looks better than a single one.

Care and Safety

Trim the wick to 5–6 mm before lighting. Place the candle on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from flammable objects, children and pets. Burn it in a calm place without draughts – this prevents smoking and uneven dripping of wax. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

The relief candle gradually melts around the wick while the outer shell stays intact, creating a “glowing pinecone” effect. The total burn time of 18–24 hours therefore lasts for several evenings – we recommend the pinecone as a decorative candle for occasional lighting rather than for long daily burning.
